It's a nice set. Whenever I'm Spurs bummin' I'll pop in 2005 game 5, go to the fourth quarter, rewind a few seconds to catch Rob's first 3 pointer at the end of the 3rd, and watch it to the end.

The title says "2006/2007 Championship DVD Special Edition" although the graphics and reviews and such are the 4 title dvd set. Is that the right one?

:lol

I just got this set on Monday. First disk that went in was 2005, Game 5. Watched from the beginning of the broadcast until the end of the first quarter, got impatient and did just what you described. Great to watch that again and the post-game with Tim and Horry was pretty funny.

I'm sure it is. Amazon has the wrong pics up sometimes. And even if it isn't, if it's not what the description says then you can get a refund.

What's the quality like? I'm not really a Spurs fan but that's a steal for 16 games.

It is a nice set. I do what you do, only with the last 6 minutes of the third, and all of the fourth, of 05's game 7. Game 6 in '03 and game 5 in '99 are good Spurs pick-me-ups for me too.

I paid close to full retail when it came out and it was worth every penny. $40 is a great price.

Looks like it. Down in the description, it says "box set". It incorrectly lists 8 discs (there are 16) but looking at the packaging, it's hard to believe that each of the 8 ultra slim cases holds 2 discs.

...the post-game with Tim and Horry was pretty funny.

:lol It was classic Duncan.

With Horry waiting on the side for his turn...

I’ll tell you the deal with Rob. Rob just hangs out the entire game. He does it all season long. He doesn’t do anything. He doesn’t feel like playing. He shows up sometimes, and then you put him in the fourth quarter in a big game, whether it be regular season or the playoffs, and he’s like “Okay, it’s time to play now. I’ve been hanging out the entire season, it’s time to play now.” And he just turns it on.

On a more serious note, Duncan also said it was one of the greatest performances he'd ever seen.

Just fine. Like watching any non-HD program on cable or DVD. You get the entire national broadcast from the discussion between the play-by-play guy and the color commentator up through the on-court post game interviews. No studio pre-game or halftime report and no commercials.

So far I've only watched Game 5 from 2005 and Game 1 from 1999. The 1999 game includes the arena player introductions.

I just bought it. Seems to be the 16 disc set. And the regular price was 100. If it's not, I'll send it back. But the reviews and product description seem to indicate it's a 16 disc set which is a great deal.

It's not available on Amazon.ca, so I guess I'll pony up for the .com version.

I'm just gonna watch Finals Game 5 of the '05 run in it's entirety.

21 points in 17:06. He was scoreless until almost the end of the 3rd, and then just blew up on the biggest stage in basketball: the 4th quarter and overtime of an absolutely critical Finals game.
