Its amazing that for someone thats accomplished as much as he has, there are a lot of people that wouldnt have him drafted top ten

If everything stayed the same but he was black he'd be in the top 8.

I think i am overrating him in thinking he wont be as good as Kevin Love.

Because he's white and he stayed all four years. These days if you stay through your senior year, people figure there's something wrong with you.

That would be a great career that a lot of players would take. Higher praise than most give him.

Laettner was the best college player I ever saw, and a very solid pro.

All jokes aside, he ain't no star player but Hansbrough will be a solid role player.

You mean Jazz? Jerry Sloan is a terrific coach.

Tyler Hansbrough at this point is better than Sasha Pavlovic and Ben Wallace, we can agree on that :lol

i also find it hard to believe that someone that averaged 20+ pts 8+ rebs well over 50% from the field, and someone thats a national champion, everyone is automatically writing him off as not being able to be a "star player"

there have been a lot of great college players who have not panned out because their game just doesn't translate well into the NBA game.

Im pretty sure Kurt Thomas led the NCAA in scoring and rebounding and he just became a solid role player.

i think tyler has a chance to be a good contributor but even then hes gonna have to improve a lot.

He will be a decent role player at best.

I actually think he'll be kinda like a homeless man's, eating out of the trash can version of Brandon Bass.

Brandon Bass is about a billion times better.

I agree and I think what's his face is totally bogus, but that's the only nba player I can think of to compare him to without coming to the conclusion that since he's white he should get compared to another white scrub.

Stop insulting the college GOAT.

Laettner does not want to mentioned in the same sentence as Tyler.

13 points and 5 boards in 14 minutes is a hell of a debut. He was doing the exact same shit in this game he did in college.

He will be a very good role player and energy guy. He will be solid and bring max effort every night. The Pacers may have done pretty well with that 13th pick.

He also probably wont be involve in nightclub shootings and so on.

no bling no high pick. Kid will surprise many. Not this year.. but he is the type that will grow and will bring more than just stats to his team. Ofc, in the nba stats rule :bang and winning is underrated.
For example, even now people talk shit about chauncy billups cause of his (bad shots\not many assist\not many points\etc) without thinking that before him the nuggets were jack shit and now they are a hell of a team.

The Pacers have the tendency to take the safe pick, which means those 3rd year players. Usually, those hyped prospects are freshmen.
