RJ to San Antonio, Shaq to the Cavs, Vince to Orlando.... Man! This is getting interesting. But hopefully nothing involving argentine slashers! ;-).

Not a good time to Trade Manu, we are NOT re-building we are RE-LOADING!!!

The only ones they should consider trading/removing are Bonner, Finley, and Mason, but if they do it will probably be more for monetary issues than anything else. I'm guessing they might take the financial hit this year and go for broke and keep everybody and even add someone with the MLE. We'll see.

By the way Happy 5th Anniversary to Manu. I can't believe it's been 5 years since he got married, won a gold medal with his NT, and went on to have an amazing season that year in which he should've been Co-MVP with Tim. How time flies fast.

They look alike, I think. She seems to be pretty tall, as well. Maybe we should pick her up as our 3rd option at PG?

Oh, that is so sweet what he wrote. Yeah, it seems like a lifetime ago when he had that fantastic year from the olympic gold medal to nba champion. If you watch that 2005 dvd after they won the championship, I loved his reaction when Michelle Tafoya was interviewing him and mentioned all the great things that happened that year.

I don't know why Pop was never interested in him. I heard he was interested in Monteccia and Prigioni but not Sanchez. WTF? Pepe is clearly better than both of them.

I think Pop doesn't want PG that has low offensive arsenal. Pepe is a hell of a PG, but on the offensive end he could be a liability. He's short and doesn't have a lot of height on his jump. And he's not much of a great shooter, straky I'd say. That's probably why he wanted Montechia.
But hell, as PG he dominates FIBA games as anybody I've seen. His ballhandling is amazing.

Pepe sucked at D. Montecchia on the other hand, was a bad ass.

I remember Montechia guarding pretty damn well to Iverson in 2004 Olympics.

The only "meh" aspect of his offensive arsenal is his shooting (still not as bad as Vaughn), he's great at anything else on that end.

Pepe Sanchez was Eric Snow´s back up. He wasn´t good enough for a starting spot over Snow.
His game was better suited for FIBA.
But, he was a very good defender, passer, and had great court vision.

That's 'cause he spend his rookie year playing for Larry Brown. Is almost impossible to get any playing time as a rookie with him.

I think Pepe would have worked great in SA with Manu.

I agree but to me he doesn't have a great first step, not the quickest PG and he doesn't jump much.

To me that 3 PG:

Montechia: Great shooter and defender, good PG skills. I little short. Should have been a great fit for SA.

Prigioni: Kind of Sanchez alike. Good PG, controls the game very well. Less talented offensively that Pepe, still a decent shooter. Few jumpness and atheleticism.

Sanchez: Controls the game as he wants, A+ ballhandling skills and his game seems so smooth. Decent shooter, more atheletic than Prigioni. Decent offensive and defensive game overall. Left handed.
