Any word on Hill's intentions? With the Suns in full melt down mode he has to be looking at new pastures. He'd be a nice addition to the drive for five.

he'll probably stay in Phoenix since he is the only "professional" in that team. then again, if he really wants a ring....

I'd rather have Bowen back. Hill wouldn't be a bad add but his douchebag factor is kinda high. Especially when it comes to scoffing the Spurs in the past.

I personllay think the Spurs view Bowen as history that they are moving on from.

Hill had some very effective games and could provide a solid 15 spot minutes taking wear and tear off other key players through the 82 game grind.

I think if Finley pick his option he'll be the 4th wing and Bruce won't comeback.

I hope Finley walks and we bring Bruce back.

The 5th wing will be a young guy

I thought I was the only one who was thinking along these lines.

The Spurs got there small forward in Jefferson and could gamble with Finley as backup for a year. It's not like he'll be guarding the other teams best player anymore nor would he log heavy minutes. Like Bonner, I think they'll do better in limited minutes and without carrying heavy loads.

I don't think Bowen returns even if Finley walks or is traded. They move on from Bowen this year and Finley next year if he stays with the team.

The Spurs filled one glaring need with Jefferson and lucked out in the draft with help filling another need. If they can get Wallace or Gortat or ZaZa or whoever there target is with the MLE I think they call it an off season.

MLE, Blair, Bonner
Duncan, Mahinmi, Gist
Jefferson, Finley, Williams
Mason, Ginobli, McClinton
Parker, Hill

i was coaching when grant hill was still in his mom's uterus. i've followed him since day one and he's the most overrated player i've ever seen. all he can do is throw hail mary's to christian laettner. if we sign him i will storm down to the spurs practice facility and literally shit on the court.

Bowen deserves to retire a Spur. People keep saying he lost a few steps, but he really didnt get enough PT last season for anyone to come to that conclusion. The moments he did play he was on form as usual.

Grant Hill can stay with the Suns, he had his oppurtunity to sign with the Spurs a few years back but he signed with the Suns... let him stay with Nash.

Knicks Recruiting Grant Hill
Jul 02, 2009 11:05 AM EST

The Knicks will try to use their $5.7 million mid-level exception on Grant Hill, who accepted an invitation to New York Monday for a recruiting visit, according to a source.

"Hill's a class act," Mike D'Antoni said Wednesday. "He didn't miss a game last year. I think he's one of the best free agents out there."

Holy fuck, what are they doing?

Ensuring that they'll have a high lottery pick to help convince Lebron to come to New York with would be my guess............

If you can package Finley up with Bonner and Williams and bring back one big, then yes I'm 100% for Grant HIll. HIs defense is decent, his offense is STILL damn good. My only reservation is Pop would make him into a point forward like from his Pistons days.
