He'll be gone, way to good offer, for not taking it.

30 Mil? how could Eto'o become the best payed player in the world if Madrid just got Kaka for 60something and Ronaldo for 90+?

One'd have thought that the more money you spend to acquire a player, the more money that player would earn.

I was unsure of this. But remember, the transfer fee and the player's salary are different. I guess it's possible the Eto'o would be transferred for a lower fee, but paid at a higher salary than Ronaldo.

There is one just not for the Top 1% (i.e., they can easily withstand it).

The sum with ronaldo was something different, that had nothing to do with the salary. The clubs agreed, but Ronaldo still has to agree with Real on his salary.

For Eto'o the transfer is lower but they can agree a much bigger salary than ronaldo will get from real, since the 90 million has nothing to do with ronaldo's salary.

Eto'o said today he didn't want to leave barcelona. It's Laporta who wants him gone. he's waiting for Eto'o to leave to make an offer for Villa.
