So we win 4 of 11 rings, but we are only 1 out of 11 to win next year?

There are only a few legitimate contenders, really only Cleveland, LA, Orlando, the Spurs, and Boston.

I was just about to post this. These are pretty accurate with the Spurs current roster. If they sign or trade for someone else they will change. Vegas is pretty good at this stuff, so this may be a sign that the Spurs will have trouble getting a good FA.

I only bet against the Spurs, so I can't take this one..

I won 300$ on betting for the Lakers in last year's playoffs..

I would definitely bet on the Spurs at 11-1 though if I wasn't a die-hard fan..

LOL...they wish they could but, when it is only hot air between their ears they are incapable of understanding anything! For many years one of the best parts of Jay Leno's Tonight Show was when he went out into the streets and asked people from La La Land the simplest of questions. The answers they gave had the whole world rolling on the floor busting our collective guts. It must be the smog and possibly the water as well.

What was there for him to understand? The fact that you think a 32 year old SG with bad wheels, a power forward with tendonitis, and Richard Jefferson are good value at 11-1? You and some of the rest are the homers by thinking this is a good bet. If you wanted a good value bet it would be the Nuggets at 13-1. Anytime you can get one of the last four that were standing last year at that price is good. They have no major unrestricted free agents(unless someone thinks Birdman is a major free agent) so they are returning basically the same team. You want to throw 5 hundred on a guy coming back off season ending surgery. Brilliant.

In case you didn't know, that'd mean a $5500 return on $500 for a team some are already predicting pick up Sheed and win the West over your precious Lakers.

LOL, this bandwagoning fool has no idea what betting (ie taking medium risks for high rewards) is about, apparently. Spurs stay healthy into the postseason along with their MLE big, anyone who could've done this is going to be feeling DAMN foolish. I'm saving for season tix or I might've found a way to gamble myself. In fact, its times like these a forward thinking person would find a way to gamble quite a bit of money on this proposition.

Yes because without your wisdom Spurs fans would have absolutely no insight into their own team.

How old are you btw? It doesn't actually matter. No, no one really cares what you think because we're spurs fans--we're going to think the spurs can win the championship. you're a lakers fan, you're going to think the lakers can win the championship. it's almost too predictable.

What I've never understood though, and we've seen a lot of annoying trolls over the years at Spurstalks (Mavericks fans being the worst in my humble opinion) is what you all get out of coming here to gloat? Is your life really that boring?

Your case in particular is pretty funny to me. I think you have this image of yourself as a super bad ass internet smack talker, but every time i read one of your posts I cant help but picture an undersized, socially awkward, pimply faced teenager sitting at his parents' computer cracking himself up with witty one liners about how shitty the spurs are.

If that's the case dude, trust me, you aren't going to pop that cherry by chatting on Spurstalk. go develop some social skills, practice having conversations with real live people (don't rush it with girls just yet, if you can get comfortable talking to boys your own age the girls will come (also, you're gonna need to get that acne under control)). Hope that helps.

Countdown to elaborate descriptions about all the mad bitches, money, and fame steelersnation has in 4.....3....2.....

I don't understand odds. How good/bad is that?

If you bet on the Spurs to win the NBA Championship next season from this moment to a certain deadline, you will win $11 for every $1 you bet if the Spurs actually win. A $100 bet would win (11*100) $1,100

These odds are also implying that the Lakers or Cavs are heavy favorites to win the NBA title. Their both 2.5:1 at this moment of time when no one is even sure what exactly will happen to these franchises, especially the Lakers.

I think a bet on the Spurs would be profitable at this point.
