http://www.sportando.net/eng/italia/legadue/3062/fiba_banned_fortitudo_from_registering_new_players .html
Fortitudo cannot ink new players
FIBA sent a letter to Fortitudo banning the Italian club from registering new players. Fortitudo owes to Coach Drucker, who signed a contract with the club from Bologna but has never coached the team, 295.000 euro that the club has never paid.
Fortitudo cannot ink new players since the problem 'Drucker' will not be solved.
Like I said over and over all this "player did not get paid in Europe" shit from US media is bull shit unless the team is banned or fined by FIBA. All this shit about clubs that are operating normally not paying players is a lie.
THREE times now the confirmation of what I told everyone here. FIBA has rules on this and if you don't pay a player you get banned. But no all the stupid fucking idiot NBA fans believe this shit that teams playing actively and operating normally are not paying players. Even though under FIBA rules it's not possible.

WRONG
http://www.solobasket.it/news.asp?ID=3824
Dynamo was banned by FIBA also.
I told you the club is banned if they do not make payments ON TIME. This lie about late payments or even that they do not ever even pay players is absurd. And this fucking asshole Sam Fisher is the biggest liar in basketball fans. ESPN saying no American player gets paid in Europe?
Fucking idiots. As I said these teams will be shut down and have to pay back anything they owe to players plus FINES plus lawyer and court fees. Any other report from US media is a fucking lie.
As usual, KBP doesn't know shit.
First of all, FIBA only gets involved if the player's agent includes the FIBA Standard Arbitration Clause in the contract. (FIBA teams are notorious for leaving it out.) Rumor has it that agents have been compensated by the teams to overlook the missing Arbitration Clause. If the agent doesn't make sure it is inserted, the player has to use the court system in the country where the team is located. Most can't afford that, and the ones that do are usually disappointed with the results.
IF the contract contains the arbitration clause, the player actually has to pay to have his complaint heard by the FAT. The player is supposed to pay half, but if the team does not pay their half, the player is required to pay both halves before the complaint will even be heard. If the team loses, the case can be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Even then, FIBA cannot force the team to pay the player. Their only recourse is, as mentioned, to not allow any international transfers to the team until the amount is paid.
The fact is, the teams find many ways to get around the rules, and to delay the penalty. One common stall tactic is to challenge whether the player's agent is propery licensed with FIBA. Finally, the decisions of the FAT and the CAS are often simply ignored. It takes a long time before any sanctions are imposed on the team. Many players go for long periods of time without getting paid, and often wind up settling for much less than they are owed, because they need the money.
And don't forget that the FIBA Arbitration Tribunal was only formed in 2007, and their first decision wasn't rendered until 2008. Before that, players got screwed often, and were almost powerless in the local courts. Here are a few examples:
Corsley Edwards is currently being screwed by a Chinese team, the Yunan Bulls. We'll see if/when he ever gets paid.
Jamel Thomas (half brother of Sebastian Telfair, Cousin of Stephon Marbury) played for an Italian team that simply didn't pay him. He won his arbitration hearing, but still didn't get paid. Eventually FIBA issued a penalty, but I'm still not sure he ever got paid. Even if he did, he still had to wait a hell of a long time for his money.
Sam Clancy got stiffed by a Russian team. The team claimed "We never got a signed copy of the contract". It worked. The case was dismissed.
Stevin Smith got stiffed by a Bulgarian club. The team claimed he had hidden a medical condition, and that he "incorrectly stated the name of the club" in his arbitration request. He was awarded partial payment, but the last I heard he hadn't received the money.

Most humans would get tired of looking stupid, and just shut the fuck up. But not you. I can't decide if you are just that ignorant, or you really enjoy being abused, and this is cheaper than paying a whip-mistress. Either way, you consistently don't know shit, but you talk a lot anyway.
You can look directly on FIBA's website. A lot of the information is in the FAQ about the Arbitration process, and it's as current as it gets.http://www.fiba.com/pages/print/pages/eng/fc/expe/fat/faq.asp23076.asp I included some more detailed excerpts from other parts of their website below.
As you can see, FIBA itself says that it does not get involved unless both parties have agreed in writing to submit to the FAT. It also says that both parties "wishing to refer their disputes to the FAT" use a particular arbitration clause in their contracts. Without the clause in writing, and signed by both parties, FIBA doesn't get involved.
It also says that the player has to put up 3,000 Euros to start the process. (But, if the team doesn't pay its half, the player has to put up the other 3,000 Eu. before the process can proceed.) And finally, if the team refuses to honor the arbitration, the player has the right to petition FIBA to penalize them. The penalties aren't automatic. They take time, and more expense for the player. The team can continue to stall for a long time.
L2 FIBA Arbitral Tribunal (FAT)
L2.1 General Principles
L2.1.1 FIBA establishes an independent FIBA Arbitral Tribunal (FAT) for the
simple, quick and inexpensive resolution of disputes arising within the
world of basketball in which FIBA, its Zones, or their respective
divisions are not directly involved and with respect to which the parties
to the dispute have agreed in writing to submit the same to the FAT.
L2.1.2 FAT awards can be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport(CAS), Lausanne, Switzerland.
L2.1.3 The FAT is primarily designed to resolve disputes between clubs,
players and agents.
L2.1.4 It is recommended that parties wishing to refer their possible disputes
to the FAT use the following arbitration clause in their contracts:
"Any dispute arising from or related to the present contract shall be
submitted to the FIBA Arbitral Tribunal (FAT) in Geneva, Switzerland
and shall be resolved in accordance with the FAT Arbitration Rules by
a single arbitrator appointed by the FAT President.
The seat of the arbitration shall be Geneva, Switzerland.
Awards of the FAT can be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for
Sport (CAS), Lausanne, Switzerland...
L2.7 Honouring of FAT Awards
L2.7.1 In the event that a party to a FAT Arbitration fails to honour a final
award or any provisional or conservatory measures (the "first party")
of FAT or of the Court of Arbitration for Sport upon appeal against a
FAT award, the party seeking enforcement of such award (the
"second party") shall have the right to request that FIBA sanction the
first party.
