I read in a recent article that some people were relunctant to vote for Kerry because he, like W, had refused to set a hard date for troop withdrawl from Iraq. It's been known for sometime in Democratic circles that the DLC, led by the Clintonistas, helped to torpedo Howard Deans chances to become the Democratic 04 Presidential candidate in favor of John Kerry, whom they viewed as a moderate and strong on National defense. Now the DLC is trying to shove Hillary down Democrats collective throats for 08, but Hillary has been largely Pro-Iraq-war and virtually disappeared during the Terry Schiavo fiasco leaving one to wonder, would Hillary really be any different than W?

There is polling fraud in this thread. One person who is registed more than once, seems to be voting multiple times.

Well, I'll give you one good reason I didn't vote for Kerry (although I did consider it for about .4 seconds). There were multiple pages of his military record that he refused to release and his "honorable" discharge came many years AFTER he actually left the military. Bush, on the other hand, released every page of his records and they showed he had nothing to hide in that area. Kerry also has a record of voting against pay raises for the military. You can see the military is an issue close to my heart, and Kerry's record on the issue is somewhat... well, crappy, to be blunt.

I'm still happy with my "neither" vote.

I spoke with 5 Bush lovers in church Sunday and 4 of them wonder if they did the right thing by voting for Bush, I know at least 90% of the Bush lovers in here feel the same but are to embarrassed to say so, It is not easy to eat crow or admit when your wrong,

I should know ,I thought Robert Blake would go to prison.
we are all wrong at one time or another...

I wish Bush wasn't President, but I didn't vote for him, and I didn't vote for Kerry, and neither of them have convinced me that I should have. Let's hope for better choices next time around.

BTW, for those who believe that Bush is trying to "fix" Social Security, I can get you a very fair price on the Brooklyn Bridge. Just send your down payment to my Swiss bank account.
