Could someone clarify when and how limited Spurs will be on naming 12 for playoffs? Is it still true cannot replace players and are locked in? If you are locked in is that by series or entire playoffs?

If situation stays as is, I cannot see Pop putting Brown on playoff roster while he is being injected into his spinal nerves unless it is less than what is being portrayed or he sees him coming back for sure by 2nd round. Therefore, it probably goes with this:

Duncan
Rasho, Nazr, Massenburg, Marks
Bowen, Horry
Parker, Beno
Manu, Barry, Wilks.

How many think Glover stays over Wilks?

Any other options?

Devin may even be back before the first round. So I don't think that he will be left off the playoff roster. But they might keep Glover on too just in case.

Once you set the playoff roster -- that's the roster for the entire playoffs.

Thanks, although I have always thought that rule stunk. Teams with depth don't get to use it at a time of year when they could use it most.

Yeah, the only exception to the rule is that if a team suffers a slew of injuries and the roster is depleted to (I think) 8 healthy bodies, it is allowed to activate one player to bring the number of dressed players to 9. But the situation would be pretty dire if it ever got to that point.

Didn't the Knicks get turned down trying to activate a 9th guy in 1999?
