Dallas fucked up by trading for Kidd, but at this point, there aren't better options available on the open market. And Kidd is a much better player than Sheed considering what he still brings to the table. Kidd used to be able to do A-M and now he can do A-E, G-K and M. He reinvented himself as a very good complementary player. Sheed is old and just doesn't care anymore.

You're missing a lot from my post. You should be embarrassed. When it comes to what to do with your MLE, I think Gortat would be much better than Matt Bonner or whatever garbage you guys have lined up next to Duncan since "serviceable" big Rasho was traded away. And at 25, he's 11 years younger than Rasheed. I mean, explain to me how Gortat is not a better option for the Spurs than Wallace?

I not all that sold on bringing him in. I am sick, as a Spurs fan, of having to factor in age (for the sake of stamina as well as chronic injuries) to every player that we give any sort of significant minutes to (excluding Tony, of course). I won't go so far as to say that I am "against" the pick-up, as I still have a good amount of respect for Wallace's game, and I don't have an answer as to who our missing piece is at the 4/5 just yet. Sadly, it's a long off-season and picking up players (for the Spurs) generally seems to take time.

Well apparently San Antonio wasn't completely sold on Rasheed being the answer. And to be honest I can't tell myself if Rasheed is actually washed up or not. San Antonio I still think has the youth movement bug going. But in light of this whole Artest going to the Lakers I think that kind of puts a new spin on things. So maybe San Antonio gets very serious about Sheed and makes a push for him.

I mean on paper Duncan, Parker, Jefferson, Ginobili, and Sheed looks pretty damn good. In the end its Sheed's decision though so we will see what happens. I just hope we get an answer pretty quick that way we can get something done with someone else if need be. Because I don't want no plan C or D lol.
