You're fucking classless dude why the fuck are you hating on the guy?

He came to houston and he PROVED A POINT.

Everybody kept bitching about the first roud, he comes here and he finally wins us a playoff series. Not only that but he gave us that tenacity and made us easily the toughest team in the league.

Now think about it, a 1 year contract with a 2o win team? What good does that serve?

Fuck you dude Ron Artesticles kicks your ass.

So, should we bitch about guys taking too much money and not wanting to win, or taking less money to get a ring? I'm confused.

I hope this whole fiasco backfires for them and he tears apart team chemistry like he's done everywhere else. I seriously don't think there are enough shots to keep Ron happy on that Lakers squad regardless of championship aspirations.

but in all seriousness i am curious how ron is going to work out on offense. the guy can be pretty damn good in the post but it's like he refuses to make that the primary aspect of his offense. if phil can somehow manage to get ron to not shoot outside of 15 feet and work the post then artest could be pretty damn good for yall on offense. if artest decides to do his own thing then he will completely disrupt your excellent and beautifully run offense.

He couldn't have gotten a bigger contract anywhere else? And to join the Lakers after the series we had against them? Fuck him, let him go. I'll root against him and the Lakers for the rest of my days that much is assured.

i'm bitching about artest and his line of bs saying he wanted to get paid. all he really wanted was to snuggle with kobe's taint.

Ron Artest = the most dangerous player of his generation.
The Lakers = a media circus with him and Kobe versus Lebron and Shaq in Cleveland. Ron Artest and Shaquille O'Neal will be quote machines..and I'll get tired enough of hearing them to turn on some white noise.

:lol Amazing how Ariza became this basketball god once he left the Lakers. No way can the Lakers replace those 8.9 points per game!

I cant blame a player for leaving to get more money....but to leave for the same money...thats laughable and sad at the same time.

Look at it this way. He took what the market will bear in a situation where he'll play and possibly have more money long-term.

I bet Ron's a lot happier than Trevow right now. Ron left to join a winner? That sucks. Ron's wanted to come to LA for a very long time. I am just shocked it took this many years.

For those of you getting down on Ron Artest for leaving the Rockets, I don't get it.

He wanted to stay but the best Morey would offer was a 1 year deal? And then the Lakers offer a 3 year deal and you expect him to stay? There's only 4 teams with capspace to offer him more than the Lakers and Rockets and none of them expressed any interest in Ron.

The NBA is a business; players gotta look after their own. I can't get pissed at Ariza for wanting more money and it's hard to blame Ron for coming to the Lakeshow for more money.

I cannot wait for when Kobe tries to do his "coaching" with his "team" and Artest tells him to shut up, or ignores him.
This is a guy who compares himself to Jesus.

It's not the fact that he left that pisses me off, it's the ridiculous man-crush Ron has on Kobe

Man... I'm gonna miss him.

But the thing is, he wanted a long term deal. He's obviously tired of having all of these quick and safe for the team 1 year deals. We did offer him more money at a yearly rate, but he wanted a long term deal and that's what he got from the Lakers.

I think Artest and Kobe are gonna have to do something about their shot attempts. Unless Artests massive respect for Kobe kicks in and he plays his role, I don't see them being better.

As for Ariza on the Rockets, I think he's a better fit for us. I'm sure he'll be with us for a while and he'll give good support to the team and be an exciting player.
