The thought of Hillary scares the hell out of me. I bust my ass for my salary, I don't want it being used to subsidize those who choose to sit on their ass all day.

Communist socialism didn't work in Russia, and it wouldn't work here either.

Oh, and you can add Kerry, Edwards, and Gore to the list too.

People said the same thing about Bill, but you know what? The stock market went from 3500 to 11000+, and the deficit was eliminated during that Democratic administration. WTF? She couldn't couldn't do worse than Shrub has. WTF difference does it make what you're taxed if your fucking job is in Bangalore India?

Um, I'm sorry, but I would take another four years of Bill Clinton before I'd take 2 days of Hillary in the White House.

Yes, she'd fuck it all up in two days.

As for taxes, my job isn't in Bangalore :) And back to Hillary, her idea for socialist health care is the same program they have in England, and take it from someone who has English relatives - their system sucks complete ass.

Yet. Bush still has three plus years left. Give it time.

And you act like Hillary would be dictator. She would have to work with Congress. Frankly, if tax dollars have to be spent taking care of people, I'd rather it be Americans tha Iraqis. You think we're not supporting health care over there? Better us than them.

In all honesty ex, some of those jobs got outsourced because people were asking for too much to do simple shit.

Case in point, outside of my regular job, a friend of mine's company was looking for someone to set up a VPN server in Dallas and set up 10 home users for VPNing into the main server so they could work for home.

Some IT clown gave them a bid of $10,000 to do the work (which would take all of maybe one Saturday afternoon if you count travel to the various home users), and people wonder why companies outsource (I did it for $7K :lol ).

Similarly, you've got IT people here in the US wanting to charge $60/hour for network help desk, of course companies are going to contract it overseas for $5/hr.

Some workers here in the US priced themselves out of the market, sadly.

Bottom line on outsourcing is its supposed to help our ever increasing trade deficit by increasing demand for our nation's goods and services by other nations, but its impossible for a Industialized nation with any type of wage restrictions, worker safety standards, SS, yada, yada, like the US to compete with a former communist country like China who pays its workers an average of 32 cents per hour. Also, from a National Security stand-point, I believe it is dangerous to outsource too many of our Nations IT jobs. We should work with our trade partners, especially Asian countries to lower tariffs on things like commadities and durable goods and subsequently raise the obstacles to protect the U.S. IT industry. I have nothing against American companies, like U.S.A.A., hiring foreigners, as long as they keep the work here in the U.S..

In an abrupt policy reversal, the Commerce Department said that it would begin an investigation into the need to re-impose trade quotas that were lifted just three months ago on a wide variety of Chinese apparel.
.....
The announcement came just three days after the administration published data showing that imports of cotton knit shirts increased 1,257 percent in the first three months of 2005 compared with the first quarter of 2004. Imports of Chinese cotton trousers jumped 1,500 percent, while imports of underwear tripled.

Those products are among the few kinds of mass-market clothing still made in the United States. They had been protected under a quota system that expired at the end of 2004.

NY Times (http://nytimes.com/2005/04/05/business/worldbusiness/05trade.html?adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1112674253-qdEWzIsMqg3VAC17ShNH0w)

See, this is exactly what I am talking about, we will protect textile jobs with quotas, setting off a inevitable trade-war with China in the process, but we don't protect our more precious IT industry? Plus, I thought lower costs for American consumers was supposed to be a benefit of outsourcing, not a reason to start trade wars to protect political allies.

I swear if another bush gets elected president any time in my life i am grabbing all of my belongings, my loved ones and moving to canada, england, or some place decent like that.

Preferably england, at least they don't have a national debt caused by wars that help 1% of their respective population.

I would not want Hillary elected either. Why must a person be given special consideration just because she was Bill's wife? Screw that. Just as stupid as Bush getting elected for being a fucking Bush.

Amen to that. It's a sign people are not paying close enough attention in that someone with name recognition has to be the front runner. The heck with that get some fresh blood besides these nepotiistc retreads.

Darth Cheney, ROFL

Dude, the simple fact that that guy is not in jail and that 99% of Bush supporters truely have no idea of the crimes this guy has committed is insane.

Remember in bush's 1st year of presidency, Cheney played such a big role in the public eye, talked alot, did stuff, but even the idiots started to realize that this guy was really really weird (to say the least)
Now you don't see him or hear of him doing anything!

It's so funny. People are so blind.

Just out of curiosity...NBAdan and the rest of you that listed Gulianni...why?

1. I would think you guys have a settle candidate on the Republican side given the results of the last 2 elections...

2. IMO, He's a conservative in name only except for his foreign policy..

3. He's pro gay and pro abortion.

4. He's an East Coast Conservative so his idea of low taxes would be high to any Southern Pub...

5. He has an impeccable track record on cleaning up govermental corruption, something that seems to weigh heavily on the minds of most liberals...

6. He's not bound ideologically to any straight party platform..and he's got the balls to go against the grain.

7.. He's essentially the same candidate as Wesley Clark.

I am not saying I expect you guys to be giving him a ringing endorsement...I just don't understand why he is on your hell no list while Wesley Clark isn't.....since Wesley Clark is just as likely to have a take no shit from anyone foreign policy...

By the way...my hell no's are for everyone not named McCain, Clark or Guilianni.

Foreign Policiy is the reason...and the left might as well concede that issue if they want to have any shot at winning back the Whitehouse.

Control of the domestic agenda is all the American public is going to give you...and frankly if you guys would stop being horses asses about it and run a legitimate democratic candidate instead of extremeists, we could use some liberalism on our domestic front, and you would probably get the whitehouse back...but it will remain the less important front past the next election.

As always...I will vote for the candidate and not the party...because both parties can get whacked out.

And Hilary and Bill are nothing alike...

Hillary Clinton
Jeb Bush
John Edwards
John McCain

Those are the main four, with Hillary being the clear-cut number one. As a future doctor, I am very concerned about her socialized medicine plan. It simply won't work. Besides, she's socialist in other areas as well.

And please, not another Bush. Surely the Republican Party knows that they need new blood.

Preferably england, at least they don't have a national debt caused by wars that help 1% of their respective population.

Yeah, but they get the hell taxed out of them for socialist (think what Hillary wants to do, but not as bad) health care :lol

My mom's from England, and every time the relatives in England are talked to, it's constant bitching about taxes. Their effective tax rate for all the classes is about 38%.

I would have to say that Rudy, Powell, and McCain are at the top of my "yes please" list, with Condi bringing up the rear.
