San Antonio standoff ends with house found empty
July 3, 2009, 6:02AM
SAN ANTONIO — What San Antonio police thought was a standoff with a barricaded man and a female hostage ended early Friday with an empty house.
Police went to the house in northeastern San Antonio after a 911 operator received a report about 10 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance there. Tactical officers surrounded the house and hostage negotiators tried to reach the man, but without success.
WOAI-AM of San Antonio reports police entered the house about 2 a.m. Friday and found no one inside. Neither the man nor the woman have been found.

Don't stand offs usually involve arguing with the bad guy, yelling, things like that? How does one argue with an empty house?
:downspin:
Hope this doesn't blow the 'Sheed thing.
