Nor should Obama supporters, over one very badly conducted bailout, and economy.Yeah, there's that. We all suffer from it. We'll see. I'm not too sanguine either.

Sorry, she's not the best choice to represent conservatism. Then again, neither really is Jindal. Jindal will run as a superior technocrat to manage your life through the welfare-warfare state.

Jindal might even do a good job. The ethics reform he pushed in LA was real, even though he mischievously pled he be excepted from it. He lost.
Bobby Jindal seems to be an overacheiver, in the best sense of the word. Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about him. Do you have a reliable source on Jindal, MB?

Yes, overachiever. Someone who's actually run a state during a real emergency and better than his predecessor. A man of consequence. The real question about him is he content to follow the current arc of "conservatism" and accept the path Bush fils put us on or is he ready to chart a new course?
I think he'd be a formidable candidate. The left will have to really dig to take him on. They can't paint him as a buffoon. The left will really come to hate him. He comes across as sensible, a non-zealot, optimistic, and sharp. I guess the left would have to count on his background being too odd, the institutional advantage of a sitting president, and reflexive Democrat support in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Colorado to win.

Yeap. I don't know exactly why...maybe it's because if public defenders were good at public defending people wouldn't have to hire lawyers. And laywers are usually the biggest contributors in judicial elections.
I can tell you this for sure, if you ever get any kind of dwi, dui or assault, if you go with a public defender you are going to lose that case.

Some lady called in to Al Sharpton's radio show and said that she thought that Palin was responsible for Michael Jackson's death and she was completely serious. She said it was too much of a coincidence and she quit the governor's office in order to avoid the heat of an investigation.
Sharpton just said interesting theory and left it at that. Didn't even chuckle or wave it off as a bizarre call.
It was definitely a wtf moment.

Since I was pointing out how Obama could say something completely stupid and it would be excused by people like yourself, whereas Palin could say something that wasn't stupid at all and you guys would attempt to frame it as such...my point still stands. It stood with an SNL skit being substituted for her actual statement...it stands even more now, thanks to you pointing out I was attributing the wrong quote to her.
And thanks for calling me a liar when you did it, not only does it serve as definition confirmaton that you felt it, it points out your double standard and retarded perceptions in the process.

And by the way, National Media and MSM are not exactly the same thing.
While MSM means all the major Cable News networks, & Major Print Outlets.
National Media is everything MSM is, along with things like Entertainment Sources, People, Vanity Fair, SNL, Blogs, ESPN, MTV, etc and anything that serves as a source of information that is well established and has political commentary in any form wether it be satire or serious.

There are certainly other examples of what she said that could be used against her. To extend your metaphor, she doesn't need to be convicted with false evidence presented by her defense.

The error did not the change the point I was trying to make, on the contrary, the correction actually reinforced my point. I was actually happy you pointed it out.
As I said, given the subject matter, it was noteworthy.
I suppose you could have gone off and blamed Tina Fey or some blog for making you believe what you did. Props for your restraint.
The second you pointed it out I realized I was quoting the SNL skit. No restraint about it, I don't care how heated the argument is, I have nothing to gain from lying to myself, that's stupid to me. I think it's stupid when other people do it too...which is I am such an antagonistic asshole when they paint themselves into a corner on that sort of thing.
I'm right often enough to where I don't have to be desperate, in fact, I like making an error on occassion just to remind myself what it feels like to be a normal human being.

The error did not the change the point I was trying to make, on the contrary, the correction actually reinforced my point. I was actually happy you pointed it out. I was just highly amused at such an elementary error. As for your point, it seemed an apples/oranges comparison to me -- but one would have had to had an actual quote from Palin to make a valid comparison of any kind.
