I guess as the regular season is winding down...and playoff time is coming near I got to thinking, I know there are alot of players that never got rings that many feel they should have gotten. But coaches often times go overlooked in that department. Larry Brown was probably at the top of the list for many until he won a ring last year. But now?

I think Sloan is the one that deserves one...he's been a coach for so long, I think he definitely deserves a ring before he bows out.

I think there are a few coaches that I would like to see win a ring before their time is done.

JVG (Always liked him, I guess you kinda have to since him and Pop are both defense guys.)

Rick Adelman (Even though I'm not a big Kings fan)

Doc Rivers (Former Spur...I'd like to see him win one though not with the Celtics)

What about yours?

I can not get myself to ever root for Sloan....too much history there to overcome.

Jerry Sloan is my favorite coach in NBA history. It's a shame for him that Malone couldn't have been more like Stockton in the clutch.
