I suppose an unnamed anonymous invisible nonexistent reliable source has mentioned this somewhere out there in basketball's ever powerful dreamland of trade possibilities.

Uh,
no.

If the price is right, yes.
Mason, Bonner, Williams and S&T Gooden at MLE would work salary wise.

Resign Bowen if we get him back and is cut once again:

Tony/Hill
Manu/Finely
Jefferson/Bowen
Amare/Blair
Duncan/Ian

Say what you want about Amare and his problems, but with TD, Tony, Pop, and Bowen, he will shut his mouth and play some D. Plus he will shut up Odom once he brings his shit inside.

That, plus McClinton, De Colo, Hairston, Gist, and Haislip would be awesome!

and he plays no d

Leetonidas

Hmm...

He probably would play his ass of next to TD to prove he is a beast to get that ring, because if for some reason he came to SA they would clearly be the favorites.

Seriously. TP, Manu, TD, Amare, and Jefferson out there? Jesus Christ. Tony would actually have someone to throw lobs to. And he could play the high-low game with Timmy.

I don't like him. He's a fucking idiot. But if for some way it could be had without giving up one of the big 4, there's no way you can say no.

How exactly would the Spurs get him?

They'll find a way to reactivate the brain implant in Steve "Sleeper Cell" Kerr that the Spurs used to orchestrate the Shaq trade.

Isn't Amar'e going to be a free agent this summer??? Did he opt in for his final year???

Yeah OK he's gonna be a free agent......do the Spurs plan on signing him for the MLE?

I don't know...I'm not the GM...it's just a hypothetical scenario.

DUNCANownsKOBE2
05-07-2010, 05:02 PM
My point is they wouldn't have the cap room to sign him, but yeah there aren't too many teams who wouldn't take him, especially since he's playing defense now.

If Amare was on the Spurs my interest would drop to practically nothing. The dude is such an annoying bitch. Congratulations, you're nearly 7 feet tall and you can dunk. Screaming every time after you do it doesn't make you hardcore or cool

TampaDude
05-07-2010, 05:05 PM
In my twisted world...

Dirk to the Suns.

Amar'e to the Spurs.

LOL...wouldn't THAT be a hoot!!! :lol

He isn't the most intelligent person in the world, perhaps we could ask him for an autograph at the bottom of a contract for the Vet min.

I've always liked his game, but not his personality...although I dislike his personality less than I used to. If the price was right, sure I would want Amare on the Spurs, he puts up big numbers every night at a high percentage.
