Players can officially sign, and that makes me a bit more nervous for Odom. Should be fun to see all of the signings "Official"

The great thing about being a Suns fan is for all the free agency excitement I miss out on I also miss out on free agency disappointment, the Suns not signing anyone has become as expected as paying taxes and death, just a crappy part of life.

I am excited as a nba fan. Should be interesting to see some plans unveiled.

Not being much of a "general" NBA fan outside of a few select teams, it really doesn't bother me. The spurs never make big moves at obvious times is another reason.

That ain't nothin'. Horry hit Ainge with a towel and the Lakers won an NBA Championship because of it.

Always interested to see what moves will change the NBA landscape for the coming season(s). The Spurs have been more aggressive and proactive thus far than in recent offseasons so I'm intrigued by what they have up their sleeves with the McDyess situation in question.

<---Very nervous about the Odom situation. If he comes back I'll be fucking ecstatic for next season...if he doesn't I'll be clinically depressed

It wouldn't be ideal, but, it wouldn't be the end of the world. We could still go on without him and have a legit shot at the repeat. There'd be enough room then for Bynum to get right and be afforded a place in the sun without Odum standing over there making Bynum nervous.

I really can't see Odom going anywhere..he must get annoyed that the Lakers are playing him like this, but that's the smart business decision for them..he won't get a better offer from anywhere else..really the only way would be if Portland offered him a big deal just to fuck with the Lakers..

the Lakers would obviously still be a legit contender, but it would be a pretty big step backwards IMO..LA's bench would become one of the worst in the league, and it would force Bynum to achieve his potential..if he doesn't, then the Lakers would be in a lot of trouble..

What's that underneath the mat? LARRY BIRD! LARRY BIRD HAS COME FROM BENEATH THE MAT! And he's not wearing the Pacers jersey; he's wearing the Celtics green! He grabs the ref's leg!

It would be a jolt, and an embarassment and would muddy the crystal waters in the Finals backwash. You just have to hope Odum's people give the Lakers right of first refusal, then at least we have autonomy after the fact, but, before the damage.

Laker fans, what is going on? Fans should do all they can to pressure the FO to sign Odom already. You really need him-he's fantastic for LA.

Is the news conference just to announce Artest and Brown? Maybe they finally came to an agreement with Odom?

He's had a bit of screw loose since his family tragedy, but, he did straighten up for these past playoffs, in particular The Finals. Will he go off the reservation again after the signage? Wouldn't surprise me.
