i'm surprirsed how cheap that dvd is, just picked up a copy. i'd do a youtube mix if i wasnt so lazy

the 2007 one is close to $20, but the 2005 series was better in every way. and it's 3/4 cheaper lol

i'll get that mega pack 16-disc anthology dvd set eventually, but this will do for now. plus our run isn't over yet ;-)

I seriously need to buy all the Spurs games from time Duncan came into the league, if that even exists.

NBA has every game archived for a good ways back, you'll be surprised

but i dont think "Every Game Tim Duncan Ever Played" on DVD will ever come out, unless there was some freakish random market demand for a 100 disc DVD set or 20 disc blu ray set lol

That set would be SO EXPENSIVE, you'd have to be Tim Duncan just to afford it!!!

not to mention how much space it would occupy, its volume would rival encyclopedia brittanica, unless you got the more space efficient bluray ones

unless you just stick 100 DVDs or whatever in that holder thing used for blank CDs. but i imagine after spending $500-$1,000 for "Every Game Tim Duncan Has Ever Played" on DVD you'd want to keep the original packaging lol

I guess I get to work on inventing a DVD that holds 10,000 hours of :bangvideo.

I still wish Duncan had record that quad double in game 6! Only two blocks away!

Of course, the Nets were only a few plays away from winning that game, so I'll take it, certainly.

does that explain why the 03 dvds are slightly more expensive lol

i'll get that one after finishing this one

2005 was just a more entertaining series overall, altho the 2003 team was far superior. that was the problem, 2003 was a barnyard spanking

the 2005 series is the way it ought to be every year

There is a mega pack 16 disc anthology dvd!?! I'm really tired, so my sarcasm meter is off, as well as all other nonessential functions.

And for whoever said the NBA archives all its games, would there be anyway to watch old playoff games on the main nba site, if you paid? I would love to watch the 99/03/05 Finals in their entirety, since I only caught some of 05, and all of 07.

Popovich should send us a Complimentary set, complete with all games in the Duncan era, and some of his best wine.

He owes us after all the grief we've had to endure as Spurs fans over the years, on and off the court.

Speaking of the 05' Season...I've been looking for these videos on YouTube for a long ass time...and finally theyre there:

I loved the Spurs-Sonics series that year, and especially Game 6. Game 6 was the kind of tough, gritty, never give up game our Spurs are known for. BIG props to Timmy after going down earlier in the 4th to get right back up, play through the pain, and hit the game-winning shot. :toast

2005 was the Spurs TOUGHEST road to the Finals: Denver, Seattle, Phoenix, and the Champion Pistons to top it all off?!?

It hurts just thinking about it.

Definitley. Denver was a tough physical squad, and took Game 1 from us at Home. Seattle was a tough physical squad as well, Phoenix was a run and gun media favorite team that alot of people thought the Spurs couldnt beat, and to top it all off, take out the defending champion Pistons in the Finals. :tu:flag::lobt2:

I remember hoping the Spurs could avoid some of those teams, but at every turn, those teams were there.

Just classic.

You should get the 16 disc collection eventually. Trust me it's worth it. :tu. My girlfriend gave it to me last year for my birthday. One of the best gifts I've ever gotten.

If we all make puppy dog eyes, maybe the Spurs will put together an extensive highlight reel after they retire his jersey. :(

How is that the most exciting NBA finals since Jordan? The first 4 games were blow outs.

right on. actually the first four minutes or so of game 1 were scary. It was great hearing Pop call the team weak and seeing them respond to a comfortable win, but yeah totally was 'boring' gms 1-4. game 5 also was scary until horry showed up. was that a buzzer beater in the 3rd quarter?

ouch, how does that happen to a spurs fan, or any fan of a team that has four titles and tons of playoff runs? Were you deployed? The Finals are broadcast on ABC for christs-sake..... and at least 3 of those titles were well within the TiVo generation. ......but yes you've probably figured out by now that the 16 disc set has all four wins from each of the Finals series. It's not complete but at least has complete footage plus post games from each series-clincher.

That DVD blew ass compared to the 03 one

yah, the 2003 disc has the 4th quarter of GM 6 from every series. There are some really spectacular plays/comebacks/odd lineups and best of all the Lakers meltdown and Kobe/Fisher tears....... the Admiral's voice-over at the beginning of the feature is quite the tear-jerker

I seriously need to buy all the Spurs games from time Duncan came into the league, if that even exists.

Dudes, I keep saying- I have like 500 Spurs games on DVD/VHS that I've recorded from cable. Some are pretty terrible quality but if anybody ever wanted to spend a few years NOT illegally making copies that the NBA would never catch wind of yr welcome to check them out. I'd be inclined to maybe accept a few tickets in return ;)

One game that I don't have is the Pacers game in 1998 where the frontcourt starting lineup was Duncan/Robinson/Perdue. anybody have that one? I would LOVE to see it again!

Games 5 and 7 certainly made up for those first 4 blow outs.

So what should I get, the 03/05/07 championship DVD's or the whole 16 disc set? I'm not much of a sucker for corny voiceovers but those 4th quarter endings sound enticing.

My Lord, if those are my two options i'd rather get the whole 16 disc set!

since i cant afford the entire set yet I just picked up the 2003 and 2005 dvds.. there are actually some really good deals right now, i saw some go for like $1-$3, unbelievable. can't believe i didn't see that, i paid about $13 for both 03-05 seasons
