Being right, doesn't justify misreporting thoughts with a high probability for truth as truth. Given the timing, even if he ends up being correct, the story itself is not correct. If I write a story today titles, Kobe Gets into Hall of Fame on First Ballot, it is a lie. The fact is, this will almost certainly become fact, but at this moment it is not, which would make my story false.
