The requirement of Marion can be digested as a sign of trading Smokey Howard, since he can Marion both plays SF as their pro. As a player based on teamwork, Marion would have his major talent wasted if he became a Mav and play off the bench with rotation players who are absolutely mediocre. I have been expecting some big names signed, but our hope totally ended in Marion eventually. No upgrade at center, no improvement in our depth.
