So who gets the #24?

Well i'm pretty sure RJ is since they already gave him the jersey :lol

I gave Dice #34 when i put him on the Spurs in NBA 2K9 because i think he had that in New York so i just went with it.

I looked for that video, but everyone who used to have it has removed it at the request of the NBA. Odd that they only care about that video, but let sites show other ones. I think Garnett might have asked the NBA to exercise their rights to ban others from using it, as it was fairly embarrassing for him. Most of the descriptions say Garnett threw the ball at McDyess, and when Antonio headed his way, he took off.

It fits my impression of Garnett; he's tough when it comes to barking like a dog on all fours or hitting rookie point guards, but when it comes to facing someone (near) his size, he runs away like the scared little poser he is.

It seriously HURT MY FEELINGS JUST TO WATCH Dice pre-injury. That is how NASTY HE WAS. Who knows what he may have accomplished if not for the injury.

Anyway, he's still great now in his own right. The Spurs are truly fortunate to have him.

On a side note, Point Guards must have have at least 10 times as good as they are today. Case in point: how many SICK ALLEYS do you see in today's game?

Virtually none. One here, one there, certainly nothing to write home about.

But in eras past, ie 90s, point guards (and others, for that matter) were throwing alleys like they got bonuses for doing it!

Pre-injury, he was Amare-like but obviously with a lot more basketball savvy.. how many players could have re-invented their game to the point that he was one of the most coveted FAs nearing the age of 35..? This guy personifies Spurs BB and its nice knowing he'll play out his career where he'll be appreciated.

Wow I thought Haislip had some nice moves around the basket till I saw the vintage McDyess video.

Such a shame the spurs couldn't have gotten Dice years ago.

Yeah, redefining how he plays the game is INSANE.

Give him credit: he's a steal for the MLE, 34 years old or no.

I would for the Spurs to got Dice back in 2005! Man, that would have changed things!

But, I'm more than glad he's here now!!!

This :lobt2:for you Dice!!!

Good catch. :lol

But I think the point was, Dice was in PERFECT position to catch the ball after the block. It's almost like he can see the future...
