I hate this worthless stretch of the year where it's just baseball, tennis and golf! (Although I am starting to appreciate golf.)

This kid just got pissed and quit a game of Madden with one second left on the clock because I sacked him on third down forcing him to punt it to me. I fair caught it at my 9 like an idiot and then tossed a 91 yard TD to Reggie Wayne when he bit it with his CB about two steps too soon. 24-21 W.

Probably was ducks. Sadly this is the closest thing to real football right now.

Agreed.

For me, the worst part of the year is between the end of basketball and the start of training camp, this year especially with the Spurs unusally early exit. Its ok though...less than 20 days!!

Eh. When the Spurs are eliminated I go from Spurs fan to NBA fan, although rooting against the likes of the team that defeated the Spurs. I think it's bad karma to root for who beats you. LeBron had the right idea, but executed it incorrectly. Should've shook hands with the Orlando players and then said "I'm rooting for Kobe" to the press.

It hasn't been as bad this year, because I enjoyed watching the CWS, even in all of its aluminum-batted phoniness (...even though UT fucking choked away the first game and ended up getting eliminated on my birthday). But apart from that, Tiger Woods let me down and so did Andy Roddick (dude is the Phoenix Suns of tennis, I'm about to become a Nadal fan). The games have been fun though. That Wimbeldon final was fucking nuts.

The Spurs offseason has been awesome and fun to watch but this is a rare exception so I'm trying not to take it for granted while it lasts.

I just booked my hotel reservations in San Antonio for TC!! I'm so pumped! Now I just have to wait about three weeks, which sucks.

I've been to SA before, a few times, but it has been a few years since my last visit. The hotel is next to the riverwalk so any SA experts in here willing to let me know the best hotspots to visit around there? :)
