Dammit Kerr....

DENVER -- Chris "Birdman" Andersen has reached a five-year deal to keep his high-flying, shot-blocking act with the Denver Nuggets, the team he revived his career with last season.

Shawn Marion is also way better than the Birdman. I like the Bird as a LLE guy, not a full MLE for 5 years at the age of 31 guy.

At least the Nugz weren't dumb enough to give Dahntay Jones 4 years, $11-13 mil or whatever it was.

Andersen isn't making the full MLE. He could make up to $26 million over the 5 years with incentives. The article says next year's salary will start $3.65 million. And, the contract is backloaded, but even backloaded, the last year of his contract will likely be just under $7 million.

But Linus and Dahntay will not be there for sure.

IS Denver finally gonna start J.R Smith???

You don't have to guard him. Once the Lakers figured that out, it was a cakewalk.
