I'm betting # 42
- Since 24 is taken by RJ, I think Dice will reverse that number
- Kevin Willis wore # 42, and Dice is a bit like because he is not intimidated in the paint, so it would be a great fit
So, what number do you think he'll be sporting?

It's what he wore in New York several years back.

3 for the number of rings he'll win with the Spurs.

Hill already has that number. McDyess'll have to use 4 and hope for an additional vet. min. year.

Finley already has 4.
34 is most likely.
That's right, I forgot Finley. 34 should be good.

Probably # 5 for the number of championship the Spurs franchise will achieve this upcoming season.

Well, if you look at the roster on spurs.com, RJ doesn't have any number yet. None of the new players or draft picks do, photo ops notwithstanding. Manu was ohotgraphed with #6 originally, until the AJ-niks raised a shit fit.
Don't go by summer league, either, as someone was sporting #44 not too long ago. :lol I think they do the number thing on the first day of training camp, and I think there is a heirarchy based on veteran status. RJ may be the one searching for a new number.

Damn I forgot about # 34 that he already had with NY and PHX
It's a good thing Terry Cumming's jersey hasn't been retired next to Avery Johnson's

34. Hopefully he'll produce like this #34 did back when he was with the Spurs before the injury.

People are making a bigger deal about Brandon Bass to Magic than this I mean on NBA.com they had it on the first slide and about McDyess they just wrote a 3 paragraph article.

The media making hardly ever makes a big deal when the Spurs make moves. Its nothing new.

Typical.
If he had signed with the Lakers, there would be no end to the viewpoints, break downs, opinions on how the Lakers are UNBEATABLE, what Dice had for breakfast, how he's been best friends with Kobe since he was 2 years old, etc.
I can't stand ESPN, or Erroneously Stupid Par Neglect.:bang
