I wouldn't be able to choose between the 2. Even though Vince Young is arguably the greatest athlete in college football history, Earl Campbell was just such a badass runner it sucks to have to put him in 2nd. Eventually the legendary clutch play of VY gives him the nod.

Sons this season Colt McCoy is going to ball so hard Tim Tebow will question his faith in God.

VY was good though I would've loved to block for that dude if I could've passed a physical when I graduated high school.

:lol Vince Young. As heavily biased as the list seems to be toward recent players, I'm surprised Moss or Faulk aren't on it.

no john heisman, alonzo stagg, pop warner, walter camp?

VY needs to find the right football team. He would be sick with Houston since they don't have an O-line but have some good receivers.

What about the Rocket Ishmael (sp?) or Tim Brown.........or Prime Time?

only a person from astu would make these type of suggestions / you know nothing about football

Prime Time??? He was not even in the same universe as VY when it comes to "thrilling"

That's right, and Texas St. isn't going to do shit as usual.

:lol

I've done some "business" with him on the phone before. He was doing real estate in Austin last I talked with him some 4-5 years ago.

I don't know why the worthless trivia stuck with me, but I brought up with him that he was the only Texas QB to ever beat OU 4 times to which he chuckled and said, 'yeah, not too many people remember that any more thanks to Vince.....'

Small world - he's still there as of March or so. We looked into opening up a bar in the Crestview Station development in Austin and he was one of our contacts.
