Conley, Gasol, Mayo, Gay, Thabeet, Q, Iverson, Arthur, Young

that could be a dangerous team and fun team to keep an eye on

What does everyone else think?

That team could be good, but it won't make the playoffs playing in the Southwest Division.

No freaking way. That team sucks.

Anyone who would turn Iverson loose on those chaps needs the holy shit beat out of them.

i think if they land him, every team in the SW division will finish above .500 which would be crazy.

i dont see why they cant jump over NO. The Hornets have some of the poorest talent all around i've ever seen from a team that made the playoffs.

Chris Paul and West is all they have, and West stats are inflated simply because Paul makes it a lot easier. they have virtually nobody worth a damn outside of those two

Those are ALL unproven players. No chance.

Don't they still have Zach Randolph? No freaking way do they make it with those two. It'll be just like Marbury and Randolph in the Knicks.

I think the Rockets and Phoenix give up their playoff spots. We are going to tank next season to get a high draft pick.

Phoenix isn't giving up a playoff spot, they're doing everything they can to get that elusive 8 seed. In 2007, it was eyes on the prize. In 2010, it's eyes on the 8 seed.

Phoenix? pfft. They are in full tank mode too. Blow the team up!

Just because DoK is in full tank mode doesn't mean they are. Stop being retarded and pretending you're paying half as much attention to the Suns off season as I am. They aren't in tank mode.

Don't you have to have a playoff seed before you can give it up?

It wouldn't do 'em any good: OKC owns their 1st rounder. They'll do anything to keep that out of the Lottery.

Thanks for the cheap shot!!!! SO ORIGINAL!!!

My point is Indazone said the Suns are in "full tank mode" and they're not, the team is going to push hard for a playoff spot and have a good chance at the 8 seed given their competition.

Thanks I didn't know that already :lol

But rather throw a season away for the sole purpose of making sure OKC doesn't get a lottery pick, it would be so much easier to just trade whatever it takes to get the pick back so they can begin to rebuild.

But, that's the Suns MO= cut yer nose off to spite yer face. They're humiliated over that trade and don't want it spread all over creation come Lottery nite.

he almost missed the playoffs with: Hamilton, Prince, R.Wallace, McDyess, Stuckey, Maxiell... than he can't make it with those Memphis players.

Perhaps in the Eastern conference, but not in the West.

If you think the Grizzlies are better than the Rockets, Suns and Warriors, then you should think the Grizzlies are going to make the playoffs.

Not no, but HELL NO.

You must understand the effect that Iverson has on a team. Because he's a volume shooter, dominates the ball and pounds the rock so much so that when teammates finally do get the rock, they're almost certainly going to shoot. They do this because they know they'll never get the ball back. Translation: Poor ball movement and a selfish brand of basketball where the ball stops after 1 or 2 passes.

Also, most NBA players view place a lot of emphasis on their ability to score. Those players who do have scoring potential, but limited opportunities because of a ball hogging teammate, tend to drift, loaf and not hustle as much on the other end. Translation: Poor defensive effort, lack of desire and weak rebounding.

AI has been an incredible, shot-making, point-producting wonder his entire career. However, it should be obvious by now that he only plays for himself, his stats and to gratify only himself. He always gets a pass for playing hard, he just doesn't play smart. Which is probably why he's so against practice. Iverson is not a winner and doesn't have a positive effect on a team, except maybe at the box office.

The Grizzlies would be making a horrific mistake by adding him, but then we're talking about the Grizzlies. They always manage to screw themselves, so I would expect nothing different from them now.

No, they own the Suns first round pick.
