The whole thing with the mavs going after odom was a joke. They can't offer more than the MLE (which the were going to offer to Gortat)...so they wouldn't be able to get him.

Rockets could potentially pull the trigger. We still have the full MLE and plenty of trade chips.

Why in the hell would they do that? They desperately need a center and a shooting guard......However, I read somewhere that they have something cooking in regarding to acquiring a center, just no word on who

I dont even know if its possible, just a thought I had since they are getting screwed out of the Gotat deal (which, honestly, I didnt think was that great of a deal anyway).

I still think he signs with the Lakers but would Cuban make a push for him?
