Live north of downtown San Antonio and curious if anyone has a favorite general auto mechanic, or garage, that they recommend. Much appreciated!

Simmangs in Converse. Believe it or not, they won't try to fuck you. I took my truck there once when it was running sluggish. I was expecting to pay out the ass, but dude came into the waiting room and told me it was only a $15 part that needed to be replaced. They could've raped me big time, but they were honest.

As the Wheel Turns, on S. Flores & Thrash Automotive on West Ave. Those are too good shops. Had work done at both places & didn't get screwed.

Bandera Automotive

I have been going there for years and they have never been dishonest.
They have had numerous chances to stick it to me but didn't.

They sure haven't. I know they're a rare bird, but if anyone in the dallas area needs a fair, honest mechanic then PM me. He's in rowlett and does an awesome job

I used to do mechanic work but I changed careers a while back. Now I only work on my own cars.

there's this guy george i took my ride to once and he is the most honest mechanic i have ever met... hyundai dealership was saying i needed a new clutch @ $2000, went to george(by referral) and he fixed my ride for a fraction of that @ $200(parts included). turned out there was a small rod bent from something and it wasn't allowing my clutch to engage gears. fuck the stealerships!

anyhow, this dude is off 281/nakoma right behind the chevron(or whatever it is on the right). i'll try to get you a number but his shop's name is something like "george's auto shop".

he's real low key and only takes on referrals.
