For those who don't know who this guy is (like me!), he's Shaun Livingston, playing for the clippers. I got his name from the boxscore.

Well, that's two assists from me in one post. I was expecting the Tony Parker comment and the too skinny (too fragile) comment.

All the Clippers coaches say this guy has the tools to be the next Magic Johnson.

If he can stay healthy.

Is Livingston THAT good?

I wouldn't know, I haven't seen him play at all this season.

One of Magic's tools was a 240lb ass he used to batter opposing PG's with while posting them up...so I don't think he's got all the tools, and this is probably just Dunleavy kissing ass...like he usually does.

Steve Smitty was supposed to be the next Magic Johnson...

So was Penny Hardaway...

Even Robert Horry was at one point supposed to be the next Magic...

Give it up...there's not gonna be another Magic.

Clipper players say that every practice this guy does somthing that makes their jaws drop. At 19 the way this guy can pass the ball is amazing.

You can tell he will be special because he plays the game off instinct like the Kidds and manu etc..

Livingston was impressive tonight a negative assist to turnover ratio for someone who is meant to have amazing court vision :blah

Personally I think he'll bust

Well the refs treated him like the next MJ, he got a lot of calls and he stayed out of foul trouble because his defense is very weak. Tony lit him up and only because he ran out of steam didn't abuse him anymore. But his offensive skills and his vision are very very good. He'll need to beef up though, it looked scary when TMass folded him in half there late in the game.

Bowen did a horrible job of guarding him. He guarded his right hand to the point that it was easy for Livingston to just drive around him to his left. I've never seen Bowen overplay someone like that.

Livingston will be an All-Star point guard. Put 20 pounds on his skinny frame and he'll be much tougher to stop.
