So, last Thursday I'm returning back from the job site as I do each week and I get a call on my cell while I'm 2-1/2 hours from SA and hear that they're rushing my bride to the ER. After multiple scenarios run through my head, come to find out it's not uncommon for women over 30 to have a gall bladder attack shortly after pregnancy (The wife delivered our son a month ago). Fast forward to a convelasing wife who had her gall baldder removed Friday, month old son who needs to be fed every 2-3 hours and a 3 year old daughter who see monsters and such in her room at night and lets the house know about it, and I'm running on fumes.
It's all good though. Cold Lone Star in the fridge, a fresh can of Long Cut, and a technicolor spider monkey who sits on my shoulder and talks to me in Mandarin Chinese to keep me company.
Life ain't so bad....
