:) Need to throw in some draft picks for Detroit for sure SA's #1 and?

This trade lets Portland out of Pyzbilla's contract, gives them a backup point and SG and an elite SF. Detroit gets farther under the cap saving about 5 mil. We get a rebounding big and two studs for the future, and lose two unwanted contracts. Detroit can go after some more FA this year and then clear more after the year.
Portland misses out on Milsap they could be pretty desperate.

Portland and Detroit laugh and then hang up the phone. Then they laugh some more.

I'll call you, and raise. This one would sting a little, but I think I'd still pull the trigger.

I am not sure that Cleveland would do that deal...I think they are wanting a little more for LeBron.

What if we also gave them Splitter's rights or Mahimini or something?

This one actually makes sense, especially since Detroit is practically in rebuilding mode

they don't seem to think they are. i don't think they'd mind getting younger, but i also don't think they're going to trade off any of their players in pure salary dumps (at least not yet) either.

I once traded Brent Barry for Dwayne Wade (pre contract extension) straight up. Wonder why the Spurs FO didn't get on it right away and do that deal.
