Spurs' magic number to win the SW division and clinch the 2 seed is 5.

Any combo of Spurs wins and Mavs and Sonics losses totalling 5 gives the Spurs the 2 seed.

Phoenix' magic number to get 1 seed is 7 with SA.

So, with 9 games remaining, if Spurs win tonight, then I think they can go 4-4 even with Manu resting 4 of the last 9 games, and TD coming back for last 4 games.

Here is the schedule:

We hold the tie breaker over Dallas, no? Makes the magic number 4? By the way, not going to beat Golden State on the road on a back to back. They are really playing well right now.

I think we're going to beat the Clips @ the road...Kaman and Simmons were down...

GS has won 9 of the last 10 including wins against Seattle, Houston, Phoenix, Sac x 2. I wouldn't be so quick to put that one in the win column. Also the second game of a back to back so maybe no Manu.

You are right, 5 to get 2 seed and 4 to win division. I forgot we had tiebreak with Dallas.

Yes, but even if we lose that, Dallas and Seattle would have to win out...I do not see that happening.

Seattle never, but Dallas has a shot....that's why that tie breaker MAY be important. Of course a lot depends on when TD comes back and how he plays.

I'm thinking of buying tix to that game, and most likely won't if he isn't playing *crosses fingers*
