According to MMAJunkie.com, Thales Leites (14-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) has been released from his UFC contract. Leites was the top middleweight contender just four months ago, but after a "lackluster" unanimous-decision loss to Silva at UFC 97 and a loss via split decision at UFC 101, he is now gone.

You knew that was coming. When you go from main event to undercard, in one fight you better bring it 100% or face the music in that fight and he apparently fought like the same tentative nothing he always is..

Finally got to watch 101. Most of the fights were meh. However Silva's fight was great he really took apart Griffen with ease. I was amazed but ecstatic I've always liked the Spider. My GF was upset cause she loves Forrest. BJ looked great and has really bounced back since his loss. Good mainevents... wish the rest of the card was as good.
