are you a pre-2004 suns fan? If so, how can you not complain about Nash and Sarver the last 2 years?

And there is not a dime's worth a difference between the way Sarver is running it and the way it was run by Colangelo.

I suspect that there would be a lot of media coverage of said deaths, including touting that "50%, 40%, 90%" stat line. Plus endless threads and articles about where Nash ranks in the all time PG rankings. And if he hates the owners now, imagine if they get caught up in the legal fiasco that the Hawks did a few seasons back after a death in the ownership. IIRC they basically couldn't negotiate any new contracts because there was a legal dispute of exactly who was going to be signing these checks. That's got to be all sorts of frustrating from a fan stand point. In fact it would be all the worse if Nash and Sarver ate it at the same time for that reason. The Suns would suddenly have a ton of cap room open up but might not be in a position to actually do anything with it for a while.

"they" managed to negotiate Joe Johnson away from Sarver for $5 million xtra smackers & Boris Diaw.

He's not a pre-2004 Suns fan so that's a pointless question.

Agreed. Two wrongs don't make a right.

And when the ownership change was taking place one had the feeling of acrimony under the immediate & peaceful surface. Perhaps Sarver would not conduct business as usual. That there would be structural change. That was not to be of course. Sarver, like Colangelo before him is constantly peeking at the guy's work on the desk next to him, be it the Spurs, Lakers, whomever. He won't do his own work because he's deathly afraid of failure.

The difference is Colangelo had enough basketball knowledge to interject in team decisions. Sarver had no business doing that given that half the people on this board know more about basketball than he does.

Yer right: Colangelo was more entitled & qualified to interject than Sarver was. Sarver still can't let go because to him it is "fun." The money coming & going to him has a certain "Monopoly" quality about it. Not as much as the initial years of his ownership, but, he still behaves as if in a fairy tale. And Kerr, he's not in it for serious. He's a buddy to Sarver, they're having the time of their lives screwin' the pooch twixt here & San Diego.

You.

If Nash died he'd stop being a Suns fan since the only reason he ever was a Suns fan is cause of Nash. I don't think he's ever lived in Phoenix.

Just cause you're not willing to admit you're a 2004 bandwagon fan doesn't mean I still don't think you are. Being a Steve Nash apologist and acting like you can't imagine a Suns team without Nash is the #1 hint you started watching in 2004.

When we extended Nash, we figured people like DoK that actually want a championship are gonna be pissed off. We also know they support and watch the team regardless. We know that if we traded Nash the fans like Pauls931 would drop off like crazy.

You caught me there, all I remember was some chambers guy who could dunk when I started following them... I think he may have been white... Either way, you're obviously not worth arguing with.(outside of entertainment purposes)

You must hate the fact that I'm right about everything. You were so sure that I was just hating the first time I said Nash is a horrible teammate it must be soul crushing to know that I'm 100% accurate calling Nash a bad teammate.

It's something I expected once KG went down with an injury.
