So I got 6 months of XM free, have any of you renewed your subscription after the trial expried? Have you been able to log into your online account?

Yes and yes.

What do you need to be able to log in online? Radio ID? Is that how you set up your account so they can start charging you once your trial is up?

It was quite a while back, but yeah, you create an account using your radio ID and then you have the chance to enter your billing info and select a term of service. The multi-year deals used to offer quite a discount.

My folks have had XM in their cars for years & they got a sportster & gave it to me. I know they've never had any issues of renewal or online support. I love it. I can't stand listening to FM stations. So much better choices of music.
