they had coverage of the final moments of the game against the Rays. He had some help with a great outfielders catch in centerfield where the OF prevented a homerun, fumbled the ball in his glove, caught in his other hand and kept the ball as he rolled on the grass

That ninth inning was crazy, that catch and then falling behind 3-1 to the next batter and coming back and striking him out on the next two pitches. Was awesome to see.

Aweeeesome.

I was just explaining perfect games to a friend last night... what a frigging coincidence. What's great is I told him how rare they are... now he's going to think I'm full of shit :lol

:lol

That catch for the first out in the ninth was unbelievable... if he would have dropped it, and then Beuhrle goes on to get the next two outs ruining the perfect game for him... :wow

This game should have been on WGN. This guy is pretty good. He joins 5 other pitchers who have thrown a no-hitter and a perfect game. And if he hadn't have walked Sammy Sosa in that no-hitter a couple years ago against the Rangers then he would have two perfect games. Lord Obama gave him a phone call after the game congratulating him.

He threw 116 pitches unbelievable. I wonder what the most pitches in a perfect game is. And there always seems to be a great catch in a no hitter/perfect game.

I feel bad for that SF kid now cause his shitty 3rd baseman fucked up his shot at the PG and now his no hitter is behind this perfect game

Mark Buehrle is pitching again tonight, and once again he has a perfect game going into the 6th inning. He set a major league record by retiring his 42nd straigh batter in the last inning. If he goes back-to-back, that is absolutely incredible.

Well he gave up a walk, then a single, then a double to not only lose the PG/NH but he gave up the 1-0 lead he had too. Ouch.
