Anyone thinks that like an insurence third p.m. he colud be useful ?
The guy can play and the Ratliff signing imho means that we're not avoiding signing skilled veterans for veteran's minimum ...
Thoughts?

p.s. Summer league have cleared that Mc Clinton and Gist need at lest one Toros year... next year tehy'll both (probably) be on the team a la Mahinmi way...

If they join the team a la Mahinmi, that means they're out for 2 years because they'll break their ankles

No thanks.

If the Spurs are after a 3rd string pg I'd like to see them get Bobby Jackson.

Tinsley was such a bad guy and locker room influence, his team basically paid his salary, but had him stay away for an entire year while they futilely tried to trade his ass.

Dime had a top 10 point guards of 08-09 a week ago that also had a bottom 5.

They had this to say about Tinsley:

1. Jamaal Tinsley — At least Marbury was able to wriggle out of his situation and draw some interest from a couple teams. Tinsley is being treated like Aunt Rose’s spoiled stuffing that’s sitting in my fridge as we speak. No one wants it at this point, and I’m kind of afraid to touch it and throw it out, so it’s just being ignored until the stink overpowers the kitchen and I don’t have a choice.

Can I get a HELL with a side order of NO, please.

Parker and Tinsley used to be neck and neck...

back when they were drafted.

i heard the clippers got rid of jayson williams, he wouldn't be a back up third string point guard. He can stroke it and he's a veteran who can back up hill when hill has an off game.

Tinsley needs to play with players he knows well to play well. The Spurs aren't his type of team to say the least.

The prison team is looking for a point guard so that works.

Maybe he'd make it on the Thuggets. Closest thing to the Jail Blazers in today's league.
