I'm down to the Lakers series in '03, and the Finals in '05. I'm heavily leaning towards '05, but I'd like to know everyone's opinion.

And I'll eventually buy both from www.pontel.com... Or not, if anyone has horror stories involving them.

finals '05 imo has been the spurs' finest hour. champion against champion, slugging it out until the end. beating the lakers is always fun to watch but that finals series was epic, the best finals matchup since the end of the jordan era. spurs are on track for another one in 2010 too. teams are so stacked next year. i'm looking forward to a celtics v. spurs finals which could very well turn into another 2005.

Lakers '03. Duncan in game six is a thing of beauty.

2003. Why? The Admiral!

Plus, you get Kevin Willis' halfcourt shot, his putback dunk in Shaq's face, Manu's crossover of both Shaq and Kobe on the same play, Fisher's tears, and you can watch Shaq and Kobe shoot 45 free throws in a game to barely eek it out thanks to worthless Bennett Salvatore.

i'd go for 2003, you'll enjoy watching the lakers bench after game 6.

2003 SA/LA also has my favorite Duncan dunk of all time (in game 3).

The products in this shop are not available to you if you live
in the USA, Canada or any other location in North America.

Is this true?

I've heard people on ST buying from this site before and was interested, till I read that.
But, I know alot of users are not in US/Can...

Oh yeah! Thanks for listing my favorite sequences from that PO series.

Get 03, no question.
You can get the 05 in the 16-disc box set for $40, albeit only the winning games.

Game 6 vs the Lakers in 03 is one of my greatest memories as a spurs fan, next to the game I went to when I was a kid when the spurs were playing the bulls and David Robinson got a huge game winning steal with just seconds left. It was the Regular season and I don't remember what year it was can anyone refresh my memory?

What does this 16-disc box set include? I'm very intrigued now, since you're the 2nd person to mention it, and I only want to watch the winning games anyways. With 05 Finals, I was unsure if I'de watch the losing games more than once.

The set has the four winning games from each Championship. It's wonderful, and it's available at a great price now.

2003 no doubt. The thing I'll always remember is TD going all "Hakeem" on Shaq who couldn't quite get his thumb out of his big fat ass and just stood there with a dumbstruck look on his face. It was awesome.

:lol I loved seeing Kobe and Fisher weeping on the bench before the game was even over. I live in L.A. so it was pretty awesome going to school the next day to make fun of all the Laker fans because Kobe and Fisher cried.

Yep

And also game 6 vs the Lakers, Duncan single-handedly destroyed the entire Lakers team

So the 4 vs the Knicks, the 4 vs the Nets, the 4 vs the Pistons, and the 4 vs the Cavs...a total of 16 games? Sounds great I might have to pick it up.

Also anybody know where I can get all of the 99' playoff games? Ive been wanting those forever, or at the very least the WCF so I can watch the entire memorial day miracle game.

Thank you so much!!!! If what was posted in this thread about pontel not shipping to North America is true, how could I get my hands on the '03 series vs the Lakers?

03 definitely, only three good games in the 05 finals worth watching, which were Game 5-7, the other 4 were snoose fest blowouts for both sides.

You will get to see the game 5 Horry miss at the end, that game was a heart beater to say the least, classic! Game 6 was our finest hour as a team IMO, the biggest win in our history in my honest opinion.

I am not saying the 7 game series wasn't epic against Detroit, but all in all I would get that Lakers series DVD first then go to the 05 Finals later if you can't find just game 5 and 7 by themselves.

I can give it to you for free, but I wont.

Because you don't have it, it's that simple.

With a quick search I don't see it for less than $60, but others have said it's out for $40. Maybe they'll post where.
