LOS ANGELES - Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge's approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists "Breaking Bonaduce" and "The Biggest Loser" among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman's kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a "Coogan Trust Account," as required by California law. The monies can't be touched until the children turn 18 or become legally emancipated.

A call to Suleman's lawyer Jeff Czech was not immediately returned Friday afternoon. He has said previously that the family has hired an entertainment lawyer and established a trust for her children, ages eight and under.

Suleman and a Website that shot video of her children have faced allegations of labor abuses in recent months.

State regulators brought four citations against Web site RadarOnline for their video taping of the first two octuplets to go home from the hospital. The state Labor Commissioner said the Web site failed to get required state permits, videotaped the infants at hours and for periods that were illegal and failed to provide a child monitor during the tapings.

A hearing is scheduled on Monday in Orange County Superior Court, in the lawsuit brought by attorney Gloria Allred. Allred asked for a labor investigation and the establishment of a trust for the children on behalf of former child entertainer Paul Petersen, president of a group dedicated to the protection of child performers.

Suleman gave birth to the world's longest-surviving set of octuplets on Jan. 26. The medical curiosity of their delivery turned to public outrage when it was learned that the single, unemployed mother had been caring for her six other children with the help of food stamps and Social Security disability payments for three of the youngsters. Suleman said previously that some of the disability money was spent on in vitro fertilizations, which was used for all 14 of her children.

A phone call placed to Netherlands-based Eyeworks Holding B.V. Friday evening rang unanswered.

Great. Just what we need. Another "reality" show about someone who fails at life.

It's pretty amazing how people who take fertility drugs are being praised and spotlighted because they actually ended up having alot of kids.

We're turning people who have kids into celebrities. What an idiocracy.

"Octomom! The Musical" Hits L.A.

Social Parody Inspired by the Controversial Mother of Octuplets, Nadya Suleman, Highlights America's Need for Fame and Money

Controversial mother of octuplets, Nadya Suleman, is the inspiration for a new musical.

(CBS) Just when you thought you've heard the last about the "Octomom," she's back.

Nadja Suleman, the famous mother of octuplets, now has another claim to fame. She's the title character in a new play that just opened in Los Angeles. It's called "Octomom! The Musical."

"I'm telling a story about people who just can't have enough," director Chris Voltaire told "The Early Show" co-anchor Julie Chen. "And what's happened in the last six months to the country, especially the economy, it's really forcing us to address that issue."

Voltaire mixes fact and fiction to tackle the hot-button topic of America's need for fame and fortune.

"Like, Octo, the way that I make her, she's a little crazy because she really wants money," said actress Molly McCook, who plays Octomom Nadja Suleman in the musical. "She really wants to be famous. And she needs it. And then when she doesn't get it, she goes crazy,"

"And that's kind of what's so funny about everybody in the show. If they don't have what they want, they go insane. And they keep going more insane until they get what they want," added McCook.

There are other greedy characters in the musical, which represents an era of American scandals.

Actor John Combs plays con man Bernie Madoff who also makes an appearance in "Octomom! the Musical."

(Madoff, 71, pleaded guilty in March to charges that his investment business was a Ponzi scheme and is now serving a 150-year sentence at a prison in North Carolina.)

"I think Octomom and Bernie and some of the other characters in the show represent the, I suppose, the excesses that we see, when we turn on the TV, we see in society all around us," Combs said.

Voltaire hopes to expand "Octomom! The Musical," around the country.

"Well, my aspiration is to give birth to 14 separate companies of the show, touring simultaneously," said Voltaire.

Voltaire's musical makes a statement while incorporating a great sense of humor.

"I wanted to create a really fun musical that captured this moment in time," he said.

"Octomom! The Musical" is playing a limited run at the Fake Gallery in Los Angeles. No word yet on whether the real Octomom, Nadya Suleman, has made a reservation. But the producers say they're keeping a seat open for her at every performance.
