Just got back from the show. Fuck it was awesome. Whitesnake did a good job but freaking Halford was the man. I felt like I went back in time when he was performing alll the tracks from British Steel. Awesome show my ears are still ringing. Victim of changes motherfucker!!!!!!

:toast Glad you enjoyed it. I've seen them twice in the last few years, that's enough for now. I hope they release a live DVD soon.

I enjoyed it, and I think you will too, if you are a diehard Priest fan. :D

Angel of Retribution is one of my favorite CD's.

Angel of Retribution is one of my favorite CD's.I have AofR, but only listened to it once or twice so far, need to get it out again.

I like their old stuff, I'm an old guy. I bought and listened to all their albums up through British Steel. I stopped after that.

It was disappointing to me, when hearing stuff like "Living After Midnight". To me, that is pop, and I don't like pop!!

A buddy of mine has the Nostradamus CD, I'll borrow it (he also says its good)

hmmm... Living After Midnight is pop to me. Maybe a better description would be "too commercial".

I always get disappointed when great hard rock groups decide to try to be more "commercial". Like Triumph, 2 great hard rock albums, then they got kinda commercial, and lighter.

Legs Diamond did it too. Two good hard rock albums, then... blah...pop!

Don't get me wrong, I love JP. I bought Sad Wings back in 1977, and the rest of their stuff back then too. I've seen them 3 times, and I met them at a local record store in San Antonio the afternoon before one of their concerts, and I got my Sad Wings LP autographed.

I love their stuff up to British steel, and I like their recent stuff, I'm just not sure if I like their in-between stuff... the "Living After Midnight" stuff.

Did music videos kill it for you? :lol I gotta admit, Breaking The Law video was so gay.

Was that at Sound Warehouse on San Pedro? Does anyone remember that place? I used to buy all my LP's & cassettes there. :tu

lol, yeah. I remember back when MTV was fairly new, and some of JP's early 80s videos were on.... yes, that is one reason I was complaining!
