I suspected this to be a possibility last week. Looks like I am not the only one who thinks this a possibility...

Jazz get more white and still get addition by subtraction with Booz gone, and the Knicks get... um... LeBron's defenseless old team mate?

Trade makes no sense whatsoever since Utah is trying to cut payroll and not add to it.

Trade makes no sense for Knicks either as Boozer isn't the type of player they'd take 2010 cap space away for.

Boozer is such an albatross. He has no game impact, but, his salary is atrocious. The Jazz wish they'd a never went there.

Oh, David Lee. I thought you meant Courtney Lee.

This is the final year on Boozer's contract, no?

^ Yeah. Boozer's like the single most desirable trade chip for teams looking to make a run at one of the 2010 free agents.

Lee's still a FA right? Depending, the Jazz could afford him. Especially if in the sign and trade they back-loaded most of his salary to 2011 when AK's off our books.

I just don't understand why the Jazz would want Lee - he's a homeless man's version of Paul Millsap.

Lee is a tough player. One that Jerry Sloan will love. I just don't think he's worth more than $9mil/year.

Tough? He plays no defense whatsoever.

I don't think Lee's ideal, but the Jazz have got to take somebody back for Boozer. It's not like we're in need of a SG or PG anymore than we're in need of PF.

I mean yeah, if we could get Kobe or Dwight Howard that would be great, but it ain't happening. So as a Jazz fan, I'm just hoping we save as much money as possible, while bringing in a serviceable position player; regardless of the position. For me, it's 100% about slashing payroll. Doesn't matter who we get; losing Boozer is addition by subtraction.

Bob Lanier is right Lee is Millsap w/o the defense. Maybe him not playing defense was cause of D'antoni, but he does nothing for them Millsap can't other than maybe have a more reliable jumper.

If I were them, I'd just want NY to lose Lee, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot giving NY a serviceable big man. If NY loses Lee, Harrington and Robinson, the Jazz have a great shot at the #1 overall pick courtesy of the Suns.

My guess is they don't. But until he's gone there's going to be Boozer trade rumors for every scenario that exists.

Not only do I hate him as a basketball player, I loathe him as a human being. How you don't, is beyond me.

It'll be painful when come draft the Suns won't have a 1st round pick and they could have had two top 10 picks if they weren't cheap.
