I just got my invite and set it up, this shit is pretty much badass and its free.

I have used it with a brother overseas. It is ok. Kind of quirky setting it up, particularly on a Mac, but if you are using Windows it is all good.

Do you have invites for it yet? It's seemed pretty nifty, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it.

As of right now you just have to apply and wait. They arent giving users invites to send out just yet.

Talktumi.com is better than google voice but it does cost some money but you can get a 30 day trial. theres an app called line2 on the appstore that integrates with it. It much better. You get your own 800 or regular # or both.

You can also dial the 800 # from any phone and call someone even long distance if someone has no long distance.

I know this is a tad late but I got my invite this morning (to my junk email so maybe keep an eye there)... I'd been waiting 3-4 weeks.

I'm not using it to make calls necessarily - more for routing/screening of the calls.
