Marcus Williams' agent, Calvin Andrews, confirmed to Pro Basketball News on Wednesday afternoon his client will sign with the Memphis Grizzlies within the next few days. The point guard will get a one-year deal for the NBA minimum of $855,189.

"They have a need for another point guard," Andrews said. "And, after playing with (the Grizzlies during the summer league in Las Vegas), he's very comfortable with them and the coaching staff."

Is this Marcus Williams , who is in Spurs roster in some pages, such as http://hoopshype.com/salaries/san_antonio.htm ??? Or is it some other Marcus Williams ??

The Marcus Williams being referred to here is the former UConn PG who was a first round pick of the Nets a few years ago.....then traded to the Warriors....then later released by GS. At this point he's less of a prospect than our own Marcus Williams. Much less, in fact. Poor conditioning and a shoot-first (and second, and third) mentality are his albatrosses.

too lazy to find the vid but he's the asshole that pushed RJ ,when they were still Nets, when all RJ tried to do was be a good teammate.
