Lebron really set the tone for this year's Cavaliers run... by getting dunked on in his own camp and hiding the footage.

Why 480?
How about a rule under 500 that cannot start a thread, which includes you.

Having more posts, doesn't make you a better poster.

a shaq v duncan finals would be pretty interesting. the era's two best bigmen meeting maybe one final time to decide who is the best.

Do you think Pop would have the temerity to preemptively hack Daddy like when he played for the Suns?

That little strategery was acceptable amongst the sagebrush & prairie dogs twixt San Antonio & Phoenix, but, I doubt if Stern would permit it in the Finals, especially with James in attendance.

Uh, uh.

I expect Boston to make it out of the East but I wouldn't mind to see the Cavs there if LA is there. But if the Lakers don't make it I really hope Orlando makes it there and wins. They're the only other title contending team other then the Lakers that I really wouldn't mind it if they won the championship, I'd actually be happy for a lot of those guys, especially Stan.

I always felt like Shaq and co. shortchanged stan for Riley after he did a pretty wonderful job with them in 05. I know the idea of having Riley was enticing, but Stan didn't deserve the boot errr resignation.

Yet a overrated SG runs the point and Mike Brown is the head coach. Cavs a regular season team. Not build for the playoffs...

There's no need. It's Shaq.
Shaq - 4 titles, 3 time Finals MVP, 1 time League MVP
Tim - 4 titles, 3 time Finals MVP, 2 time League MVP

Duncan's career numbers
21.4 ppg on 50.7 percent shooting, 11.7 rpg, 3.2 apg and 2.4 bpg.

Shaq's career numbers
24.7 ppg on 58 percent shooting, 11.2 rpg, 2.6 apg and 2.4 bpg.

Teams were built around Tim Duncan. Shaq's teams were not built around him. Think about it. Even as Tim ages, the Spurs would NEVER trade him. He means too much to that organization. Shaq may be the most dominant, but Tim is the better player and more skilled, and that's what we're talking about here. He's a better passer, and is better at making his teammates better, and getting them involved. Tim has made Parker, Ginobili, and Bowen better. Shaq didn't make anyone better. He also has always needed another dominant player to win...Tim hasn't. Shaq also has missed the playoffs these last two years while Tim hasn't missed the playoffs in his career. It's also interesting how Shaq has shot 8 percent higher in FG percentage, but averages only 3 points more per game. Tim is more consistent.

Those are some bold predictions considering the season hasn't even started. I guess as long as Shaq can still make it up and down the court he will make the team better.

It'll be projected to be a Cavs/Lakers finals until LeBron leaves Cleveland, then people will make threads about a Knicks/Lakers finals

bynum, gasol and odom will own Timmy

Let's get over this myth that Bynum has any talent. The only thing he is any good at is committing fouls. An improvement for Bynum would be to not foul out of a playoff game. If Bynum wasn't playing in Hollywood with the notorious rapist he would get no attention because he is such a lame player.

The only reason the lame ass Bynum got a ring is because he happened to be on a team with Gasol, Odom, Ariza and Bryant. Not because he had anything to do with it.

yea Bynum fouled D12 so he would miss Free Throws while Gasol will do all the scorin & rebounding

You got two players who got swept in the finals, and you are calling Dwight a quitter and loser. Nicely done.
