I was only 4 when that happened but I heard that the land that the site where the Pope had his outdoor mass was the current site of the new Stevens High School under construction.

The A is where the school is located:

My question:

What should the city place on the land the school is giving to the city to honor the Pope.

A statue? A plaque? A church?

Question is how long will it take for the ACLU to protest a monument honoring a religious figure? Here comes the rehashing of the Separation of the Church and State issue!!

Wrong. The placing of a monument of this sort isn't religous in nature at all. It's honoring a man that had a large influence in the world. No different then say naming a street after the Reverend Martin Luther King.

Be thankful the ACLU is there, they fight for Catholic rights all the time.
