Let's see..

Steve Kerr- ALL TIME #1 - 3pt % for a Season (Better than Larry Bird, Reggie Miller)
Steve Kerr- ALL TIME #1 - 3pt % for a career (Better than Larry Bird, Reggie Miller)

Fisher - .4 was his greatest deed, otherwise, he lost his starting job in Golden State and got traded. Then he was backup PG for the Jazz before coming to the Lakers because Smush Parker sucked so bad.

is this a fucking joke???

yeah Steve Kerr could shoot, but come on. THis is ridiculous. Fisher is an NBA level player. Kerr was nothing but a great shooting scrub

Not surprised that .4 still hurts on a Spurs forum.

You guys can call Steve Kerr, the #1 3pt% shooter of all time a Scrub when Fisher lost his starting job in LA, GSW, JAZZ :lol

And what is Fisher so great at?

Reggie Miller is a great player because he could shoot. So was Glen Rice and so was Steve Kerr. Those are some of the absolute best shooters ever. It's about scoring right?

Kerr was #1 in shooting...What was Fisher ever so great at? Was Fisher ever #1 at anything?

Not great, just better than Kerr at areas other than shooting.

Reggie Miller could do a lot more than just shoot.

like someone else pointed out. Fisher is better at everything else.

I'm undecided. Overall Fisher is much better, but Kerr fit better as a role player, who came off the bench to do one thing, and one thing only.

In all other categories, Fisher was just average. No stat sticks out; yet Kerr has the distinction of being #1 of ALL TIME.

Fisher's statistical career is very un-noteworthy, and is not even top 50 in any stat All Time.

You say Fisher is better at everything else...but that was still very average. Kerr has that one thing he did extremely well. Fisher...what did he do extremely well?

exactly. Fisher is a starting NBA PG. Kerr could never start in the NBA. He was nothing more than a great shooting bench guy.

Fisher is better than Smush and Jordan Farmar, but that's not saying much. The Lakers don't have much choice.

Fisher was a backup PG on the Jazz and Warriors that didn't see much PT.

His two seasons with the Warriors, he averaged 30.0 and 31.6 minutes. On the Jazz he averaged 27.9 minutes.

Yep. Right now he has a GM score of "0" which is much, much greater than what I'd give Steve Kerr.

+1

Kerr has done some great things, like a single-handed takeover of a Spurs game late in his career, clutch shots, consistent shooting.

But Fisher has been shown to, in the right situation, be a major contributor to contending teams, like Utah...

I can't believe this is even close. Fisher by far. Not even worth adding to a already crazy question. I put my money on Fisher in the GM department as well.
