I can't speak for others, but I mentioned it not as an assertion of superiority (I don't believe in that), but to make the point that this place goes a lot deeper than most forums - it has a lengthy history, and a culture all of its own. A lot of recent posters, regardless of the quality of their posts, seem to overlook this. But actually I think part of the fun of a place like this is learning the back-story.

Anyway, love or hate Sequ's threads, he is a part of the culture of Spurstalk... and BTW, I still remember having a drink* with him outside the Oak Hills Tavern in 2003, about 3 months before we won that second ring, and he's a really nice guy, not at all like his ST persona! :lol

Some of you must be thinking that it's too little too late, but I disagree. Maybe Sequ should lay low and do a little soul searching. It's just a small sacrifice to make for the short term and only then after confronting one's own under achieving can anyone truly stand up tall and reach new heights. I mean, life is too short.
