Unstoppable. Eli Manning is (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ78q2sJ7iA). But so are the forces that bring together corporate money and sports. Thus, we have a conflict.
Eli endorses Citizen watches, but then the Giants went ahead and sold ad space on their practice jerseys (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Will-NFL-teams-ever-sell-ad-space-on-jerseys-?urn=nfl,167757) to Timex. What's poor Eli to do? Does his personal deal with Citizen trump the team's deal with Timex? And what if he starts wearing a giant clock around his neck, like Flava Flav? (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0c/Flavor-flav.jpg) Which brand does he wear then? Man, he's going to get everyone in trouble.
CNBC's Darren Rovell sheds some light (http://www.cnbc.com/id/32268663).

Manning's jersey has the patch on it and news crews might be able to film the small patch – 3½ inches by 4½ inches - from afar, but for this practice and all future practices, Manning is not expected to give Timex much love due to his conflict of interest. We're told Manning will do interviews before practice in a t-shirt and will take off his pads for any interviews after practice.
Well, I'm glad we got that figured out. Eli Manning (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6760/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6760/news) fans in need of a timepiece were about to get really confused.

Eli > Romo

Eli > Romo
What does that have anything to do with the thread? That's obvious. But shouldn't it be? One was a #1 pick and one was undrafted. The fact that you even feel you have to say that shows how good Romo really is, especially compared to what he was expected to be. But a MUCH higher completion percentage and almost as many TDs with 2 less years at the helm might cause an argument. At the same time, Brady>Manning. Your #1 pick isn't near as good as a 6th rounder.

Romo's not even a top 10 qb, so I doubt I'd be posting Eli>Romo because it shows how good Romo really is. Good logic.

The fact that you actually have to say it, and the fact that an undrafted QB has a much higher completion percentage and almost as many TDs as a #1 pick with 2 less years says how good he is...you don't really have to. Still don't know what Tony Romo has to do with this thread though. Do you ever have anything knowledeable to say, or is it all trolling? It must hurt when every sports team you enjoy, college and pro, all suck.

Do you know why San Antonio will never get a football team?

to be fair tho, the romo hate is stupid. there are so many people that bag on him like crazy, but dont even realize, that on a shitty year with injuries, he still had around a 92 QB rating, was on pace for another 4000 yard season, threw for 26 TDs and 14 INTs.

sure, he needs to work on turning the ball over less, but these #'s are better than the majority of the QBs in the NFL, and the kinds of #'s you expect from a top 5, even top 3 QB. and he is putting them up on a bad year.

Romo is a hell of a quarterback, and if he is able to cut back on the turnovers, he can most definitely be considered a top 3 QB.

Also, Romo had help choking those games away, especially last year.
