you know you're a pathetic franchise when your excuse for sucking the past 7 years is "everything would have been different if the referees didn't call a play exactly as the rule states it should be called!"

nothing the raiders could ever do, would be on par with the complete chode implosion that the pats and their fans experienced at the hands of eli, tyree, strahan, and the giants. the raiders could go 0-16 for 10 consecutive seasons, and none of it will ever be as full of fail as what the patriots did. this was supposed to be the greatest team ever. before the season even started, as soon as the Moss trade was made, people like mono already said they would go 19-0. they were supposed to end eli's decent postseason run and bust of a career with a humiliating defeat in the super bowl. they were supposed to score more points than given credit for (heh, heh, heh... stfu tom brady). they were supposed to come out motivated over the giants "black" theme, and completely molest them till they wish they were never born. they were supposed to come out and send a big "fuck you" to the whole world for "spygate".

instead, they got their asses kicked and cried like faggots on the biggest stage in the world. there was so much ownage in that superbowl by the giants, i dont even know where to begin, whether it should be with the manning escape, the tyree catch, the plaxico TD, the 5 sacks on brady, etc...

or perhaps we should go with all the fail by the patriots, like brady missing open guys, the offensive line getting completely owned by a mere 4 man pass rush all game, maroney running like the pussy he is, samuel not knowing how to catch, or rodney harrison being unable to break up a wild pass into triple coverage to a crappy unknown reciever.

either way, the patriots were owned harder than any team has been owned ever. worse than the raiders against gruden. worse than the lakers against the celtics last year. worse than the mavericks against the heat. worse than romo fumbling the snap against seattle. worse than jordan sweeping the pistons. worse than all the teams that got murdered by the dream team, combined. worse than the red sox against the yankees over the 1000 years prior to 2004. worse than usc against Vince Young. worse than the bills in the 90s.

They certainly dont own Tom Brady. They are 5-10 against the Pats when Brady is at the helm.

lol and a steelers fan jumps into the shit talking too? that's more funny than a raiders fan talking crap.

Tom Brady has owned the Steelers harder than any other team in the league. Hell, Drew Bledsoe owned the Steelers too, all the way back to 96. The Steelers have been bent over taking it up the asspipe from the Patriots for almost 15 years now.

Where does the championship game they lost to the Colts rank?

personally, that's #2 behind SB 42. Pats fans really don't have much to complain about, but here's my personal list of "biggest crotch kicks as a Pats fan"

1. SB 42
2. AFC Championship loss to the Colts
3. The Pete Carroll years
4. SB loss to the Packers where Vinatieri had a clean tackle on Desmond Howard but some asshole Packer got away with a bullshit hold on Adam, letting Howard get through for a kickoff return TD that essentially won the game.
5. Robert Edwards blowing out his knee playing beach football

The real question for Patsy fans is are they gonna win a title without using cameras to spy on opponent practices.

18-1* = karma for the 1st cheatriot title
Bernard Pollard = karma for the second one

Still one more to go, I see :wakeup

You better hope you avoid the Pats again. Steelers and their fans dread thinking about a healthy Tom Brady. I wouldnt mind Pitts having the #1 seed. Brady owns them at Heinz in the playoffs.

How do you feel about the Colts this year? Alot of people including a buddy of mine who is a die hard colts fan doesnt see them doing much due to losing Dungy and Harrison. I expect the Colts to be in the thick of things as long as Manning is the qb.

Anything Harrison has done the last 2 years can be replaced by Gonzo. I'm pretty confident the D will be better too. And following the trend, this is Sanders' year to be healthy :lol

Just getting to the Super Bowl was good enough that year. No Patriots fan with a functional brain thought they were gonna be within 20 points of the Bears.

...and I was like 4 years old when that happened.

This is the deal, holmes. Caldwell was Dungy's man, not Irsay's or Polian's. He was with Dungy since Tampa so I like to think he was around long enough to be able to keep the ship floating the way it was from a playcalling standpoint. Everyone knows the Colts already have a team capable of winning the Super Bowl, the problem they've always had in the Peyton Manning era is the defense can't get off the field in the playoffs (usually this happened against the Patriots where before the chode explosion Manning laid on their defense the entire second half of that championship game in 2006, the offense would also get owned by the Pats. That doesn't happen anymore).

I like what I'm seeing from our new DC. He's not bringing in a new system and trying to turn the Colts small DBs into fucking Pittsburgh. But he is changing Dungy's Cover 2 defense up a little bit here and there, according to what the players in camp are saying. Basically all of them are like, it's mostly the same with a small change here and there to make certain coverages more effective based on the strengths of the personnel on the field. And I'm not really worried about the Harrison situation. Sucks that he's gone but he wasn't producing anymore. Gonzalez says he always followed Harrison around like a puppy at camp and practices and all of that so he could bounce ideas off of him and have his question answered by the second greatest receiver ever. I like that kind of work ethic and I think he'll have a good year. Will he be as good as Harrison? Probably not, but as long as he does better than he did last year I'm not really worried. We still have Wayne and Clark, and Addai is a pretty good in the receiving game too.

Mainly, I just hope Coach Caldwell has some balls when it comes to playcalling in the clutch. Dungy really didn't and that's why the Colts lost some close playoff games over the years.
