I'm thinking of Jailbreaking my iphone... just wondering what are some good apps for jailbroken Iphones?
One I know of, is Bluffmycall... greatest prank call tool of all time.. can call someone and have whatever number you want to show up on the caller ID, and you can actually change the voice.
Eh, there are a few good ones, 3Gunrestrictor, PDANet, shit like that.
Personally I prefer getting my grubby hands on actual app store apps.

I have. I like my Garmin better. I haven't tried the TomTom one though.
I have, Navigon is the best.

Yeah I've tried Sygic and Navigon. I kept Navigon.
There's another one called iGo My Way 2009. It's supposed to show landmarks building on the map or some shit; I've been too lazy to try it out. I'm still waiting for the TomTom one though.

The biggest problem with using the iPhone as a navigation device is that if you get a phonecall, then you're out of the navigation program. Same thing if you want to rock some tunes while you're driving.

The phone call is the biggest problem. I'm not sure if the TomTom has a workaround for that (doubt it). Music hasn't been much of a problem though.

How exactly did you install Navigon and the maps?
I believe the Navigon I got included the maps, I had a much harder time with the Sygic (I believe that's who makes it).

Shit, the only Navigon Ive found has either puerto rico or california. (installous) did you pay for yours?
LOL.
No my "friend" didn't pay for his.
I believe he found it on Appulous.
You're just going to have to go though the links and find the right one. With most apps you just download it and go, but with these some are as you mentioned, Puerto Rico or California only, etc.
You could probably even put together something with Texas only if you need to save space.
